Is the G11 exactly the same as G15 except without the LCD?

And does all the keys lights up cause from the pictures in Logitech site, its only showing the middle keys..LOL..

standard questions/answers for the new G15 user..

1- how to use media control button.. i know u cannot play winamp by default..

Launch Winamp
Select Options->Preferences...
Select Global Hotkeys and place a check in the box labeled Enabled
Click the Close button

i wonder why winamp not enable it by default.. it's affect some other multimedia keyboard also..

2- why cannot use thumbdrive.. becoz it's drain more power..
standard joystick should do..

but we can use thumbdrive if we plug usb hub there..

3-why i press G1 as esc... lol coz my mind set that the edge of keyboard got esc button.. will use to it after sometimes..

1: , well actually i did enable the hotkeys, but how to assign those G keys to winamp's?, hit the G1 it'll act F1 key (it's by default), well for now, i use G15 settings, assigned G1 to "Alt + Insert"

2: thumbdrive vs gaming mouse, which one drains more power , the mouse can be used, but the thumbdrive, can't... but it's not a big deal though , besides, it could be because of G15's USB port doesn't support 2.0 USB

3: this is so true...

as i remember clearly (not using winamp right now)..
by defaut winamp set z,x,c,v,b as the media button.. so u can set those as G key..

yeap, but when "in" winamp windows, if say, we're on other application (in game), we can't use the "Z, X, C, V and B" key, that's why we use the hotkeyes...

yea, saitek eclipse 2 keyboard light can turn off. but normally i turn it on cause lazy to turn it off. haha.

welcome to the club, well, there's a condition, we need you snap a picture of your keyboard complete angle, with the lights on/off (if any) , just kidding, but i think it's better for us since there a lot people interested in getting new gaming keyboard...

hi. why you need to set the z, X, c and bla bla to your G keys? the media buttons work (play, pause, forward, reverse, etc) well on winamp, media player classic & windows media player both in music and movies. as long as you set the global hotkey thingy, you can use it in winamp already. as for the others, it is working with default settings.

no la, i didn't even assigned any G keys on winamp controller, but what i meant was, i can't control the media key, the volume works, but not those keys...

whee....now i wont be alone in the reclusa list! heheh
