Help me decide which one to get 1st?

I might buy both of them but, which 1st to get? In term of exclusive games availability etc....



Please dont compare in term of hardware n everything, compare as a casual gamers....

This is tricky. Your criteria is "exclusive games availability".
Xbone has more exclusive games at this point. But availability in Malaysia is limited.

Eventhough there are exclusives on each console, you'll have to judge them personally. For example, PS4 has Killzone Shadowfall. Some say it's amazing but I personally hated it. Xbox will have Titanfall soon. Everyone is talking about it but I personally don't really like FPS. See, 'personally'. Turns out, the two titles which I spent most of my time is currently Tomb Raider DE and Don't Starve.

And if you ask around, everyone (including myself) will answer based on an "I think" concept. I think X is better, I think Y is better, I think Z is a good console. Even Microsoft themselves are using "I think" to defend the whole 1080p debate. Dig up that article and notice how many "I think" exist in that statement.

One of the best bet is to watch Youtube and decide on the games yourself. Don't watch the trailers. Watch those "2 hour gameplay" videos. That's how I got suckered-in on Shadowfall. I judged it too early coz the trailer and tech demo looks awesome.

it is pointless to ask somebody else where the answer is all yours. Ask yourself, type of games that you are into. IMO, if you like JRPG (tales series), without any doubt PS4. Xbone USUALLY will focus on 1st person shooter games.

Hahhaa... no worries la my friend.. a lot of people disappointed with shadowfall... personally so far most of their new series of their good games are terible... exclusive title also sh******t

check the game titles & preview/reviews, make sure you play game not play the hardware.

Xbox one for me, most of the cool online games i can find with Xbox

Since you mention Xbox1 as xbone... go for PS4 then!!!

Sorry TS for coming in and vampire your thread... but I'm currently in the same boat - trying to decide between the 2 consoles. Right now, I'm leaning a little bit towards the PS4.

I don't really game on my console much (had a 40GB PS3 that went YLOD, replaced it with a PS3 Slim 120GB - total games played on both maybe 10) - but the games that I do play, I usually spend quite a lot of time with (MGS4 which was the main reason I got the PS3, PES series that I stopped buying in 2009, and more recently GTA).

In most cases, I'd prefer to game on my PC (therefore games like Titanfall are a nonfactor) and the main reason I'm even thinking about getting a console is because the PC is getting shafted more and more these days - FIFA 14 and NBA 2k14 are both "current gen" on PC. Want next gen? Buy either XB1/PS4. Obviously I should have done some reading before buying, but I ended up buying NBA 2k14 for PC... which is the same price as the XB1/PS4 version... except it's current gen. Other reason I'm looking at next-gen now is for the next MGS (which unfortunately will be on both consoles so that doesn't help my decision either).

PS4 looks like the logical choice right now (MGS looks better on PS4, equal on most parts with XB1)... but the XB1 US sets look interesting (wtf 1k for console only).

Any thoughts from others here?

i asked which one 1st to get? i might buy both if it is ok, games are cool etc...

most recommend me to get ps4 an after some discussion i get it, why do they prefer ps4

ps4 will be the 1st and.............pc might come next not xbone

should have go for pc first if u r asking for exclusive games. ps4 and xboxone both are too new to name number of exclusives games ^^

although somewhere wrote microsoft hinted that xboxone exclusives games wont be ported to pc but titanfall is available on pc XD

second will most probably buy ps4 if u are like most that bought ps4; playing jrpg or japanese games that dun even have english translation XD

PS4 = has official support in Malaysia since December last year.
XBone = has no official support in Malaysia, and unlikely to have any support in Malaysia until half a decade after it launches in Singapore and the next generation of Xbox is on the horizon. For the records, it won't even launch in Singapore until later this year, probably nearing the end of the year.
