Sorry TS for coming in and vampire your thread... but I'm currently in the same boat - trying to decide between the 2 consoles. Right now, I'm leaning a little bit towards the PS4.

I don't really game on my console much (had a 40GB PS3 that went YLOD, replaced it with a PS3 Slim 120GB - total games played on both maybe 10) - but the games that I do play, I usually spend quite a lot of time with (MGS4 which was the main reason I got the PS3, PES series that I stopped buying in 2009, and more recently GTA).

In most cases, I'd prefer to game on my PC (therefore games like Titanfall are a nonfactor) and the main reason I'm even thinking about getting a console is because the PC is getting shafted more and more these days - FIFA 14 and NBA 2k14 are both "current gen" on PC. Want next gen? Buy either XB1/PS4. Obviously I should have done some reading before buying, but I ended up buying NBA 2k14 for PC... which is the same price as the XB1/PS4 version... except it's current gen. Other reason I'm looking at next-gen now is for the next MGS (which unfortunately will be on both consoles so that doesn't help my decision either).

PS4 looks like the logical choice right now (MGS looks better on PS4, equal on most parts with XB1)... but the XB1 US sets look interesting (wtf 1k for console only).

Any thoughts from others here?
