The customer service is a joke! Keep on calling them but to no avail, very bad service!

I get my njoi install last Monday, I choose the new njoi zipper decoder because of hd abilities. According to the installer will get hdmi after player auto update. Will get free Channel 314 and few channel for 2 weeks after few day . Now I get free channel, but still can't use hdmi, anyone can let me know how to update the decoder?

Astro Njoi now Rm 348 including installation.

Straight to the point. If your so called HD decoder got big green 'NJOI' sticker in front of it instead of 'Beyond', dont bother with HDMI. There is no firmware update.

Yep, my Njoi somehow no picture/signal sometime back....give up liao. Waste of time. I continue to watch my Internet TV. No stress and hassle free.

no picture/signal not everyday happen only heavy rain will happen...

now njoi topup can get at petronas, 99mart , KK with e-pay

For the future njoi subscriber, if u keen on hdmi, remember to choose beyond re-cond decoder and not njoi new decoder. Njoi new decoder can only use rca cable.

Yes, new decoder has YPbPr output and it can be used.

Guys, My njoi connected to my tv via HDMI cable, is it any way for me to get the sound coming

from external speaker (3.5mm speaker jack) insted of TV's speaker? BIG THANKS

In more advance system, ARC from TV go to your AVR

but for your case TV out 3.5mm from TV to your speaker

Njoi player got optical output, use optical cable to joint to home theater system.

Hi, today suddenly my Njoi can't use HDMI anymore.
Before this can use HDMI output, but now it just blank and black screen.

My decoder is this one, order as refurbished unit from Astro.



Now only can watch via the RCA cables.

Anyone face the same problems?

Hi all, planning to install NJOI for a home to rent, but then I am not sure what's the different with refurb unit and new unit, isn't that both are capable to deliver the same experience? Refurb unit has HDMI out?

It take 6 days from the day I start registered. My njoi new decoder can't use hdmi.

All new and refurbish NJOI decoder when 1st use only can use RCA signal, only when you set the unit into stanby mode for 1-2hrs(for update) , and re-power up (power off the decoder {off the electricity to decoder}and re-power ON), then you had HDMI/RCA is enable!

Njoi player can't use hdmi even after the update.
