As most of you already aware about the Measat 3 satellite outage since yesterday:
My friend that uses Njoi, just confirms that all Njoi SD channels have been recovered. If you see the SCNA message on certain channels, reboot your Astro/Njoi set-top-box.
101, 102, 122, 126, 531, 831, now can watch already.

Also good news to NJOI viewers:
TV1, TV2 and TVS is now in HD on NJOI, on the same channel number, 101, 102 and 122 respectively.

Probably because they realise that they don't want to waste that kind of satellite bandwidth anymore lol

1. SD versions of TV1, TV2 and TVS does not exist anymore, ever since Measat 3 satellite went out of service on 21 June 2021.

2. 101, 102 and 122 is available only in HD to all Astro & NJOI viewers (it appears to me la), even if you don't subscribe to NJOI HD pack.

What audio issue is it? Describe how does it sound like.

Legacy box have been discontinued since ages ago. If the box spoils, then that's the end for you.

Btw are you able to use your old Astro box to view these channels now?

The channel list seems outdated. You need to refresh the channel list.

On your Astro remote control, press MENU, select Satellite Signal.
And then press OK to Download. Wait about 1 minute, it'll refresh the channel list. And then try tune to these channels again:

148, 601, 140, 502, 602, 200, 149, 147

Oh, you need to go MENU>Installation setup>Manual Configuration.
And then press down button on remote 2x to go to "Base frequency", and then change from 10.982 GHz to 11.682 GHz first.

Note: Please make sure your LNB Powering option is turned On.
Save the settings, and then go back to MENU>Satellite Signal again.
See if the signal readings is now shown in green colour. If yes, press OK to download list of services (means refresh channel list).

And then go through the channels again.

Hmm... I believe channel 122 also showing Service Currently Not Available, right?

Anyway, if you encounter any issues with your legacy Astro box, such as getting 0 signal reading at the Satellite Signal page and unable to update channels, feel free to post a question on this thread.

That's because Astro have been "reshuffling channels" from one transponder into the other, but it seems they "forgot" to update the EPG accordingly

Attention to those who still using legacy Astro box
You'll need to go MENU>Installation setup>Manual Configuration>Default PIN 0000
And then press down button on remote 2x to go to "Base frequency", and then change from 10.982 GHz to 11.682 GHz, and then Save changes.
And then go back to MENU>Satellite Signal>Press OK to Download
From here, it'll download a list of services (channel list), then you'll be able to access to the channels again.

If you or you know anyone that uses Astro legacy box (and still reluctant to upgrade to the newer box one), you'd realise that it has lost access to some or all channels. In that case, you'll need to change the Base Frequency settings first, then only you'd get access to the SD channels again.

I know maybe you have your own reasons of not upgrading it, but still, please upgrade to the newer box whenever possible la. I believe their free upgrade no contract option is still available though 🤔

Are you certain that you are still using the old legacy Astro box? The software with the blue colour background one?
