When I stopped paying ASTRO monthly and installed NJOI.... I thought I will miss some of the paid channels especially MOVIES channels.

As it turned out, I did not not miss them at all! LOL..... cos those movies they show are ALWAYS repeats for God knows how many times a year.

Don't forget to watch Channel 803 HD for upcoming ASEAN Games.

I never subscribed movie channels, just waste of money for repeated and censored movies.

But i do missed all other good sports, learning & metro channels i.e discovery, NGC, History, Travel, E!, HGTV, Diva etc and those programs produced by Astro.

Only know this yesterday.... all sports channel are available to buy (all bundled in a sports pack) for RM50/30 days. (Promotion ends 17/10).

It's real , heard if you did not turn on the njoi for a 1-2 weeks or a month , to active back , need to bring the decoder to the astro CS to ask them to reactive.

yes. if u didnt turn on for long time your decoder will be decommissioned.

I’m having this problem now. After 3 weeks / 1 month never watch for the njoy, it’s no signal at all! Call to customer service, they said gonna to pay rm65 to send technical come my house for checking and warranty for 3 months.

As this company said njoy is for 1 time installation. Why need to pay again?

After listen to this, I’m feel unhappy and decide to install unify. Wasted my rm300++ for the installation!

Seriously, this is fake news. There is no such thing about not turning on the decoder will result in deactivation.

How does Astro suppose to know if you got turn on the NJOI decoder or not?
The satellite dish LNB can only receive signal, it can't send/broadcast signal back to MEASAT.



edit: Your cabling, dish allignment (blown by the wind), loose SIM card insertion, improperly screwed connector, water leakage into LNB or even faulty LNB probably are the problem.

But I know the CS instruct must really need to bring to decoder.
I suggest you bring the decoder to CS center and check.Njoi sub contract to other company so coming to check surely got charge.
Is either they can't check or it get deactivate , bring your decoder to CS to reactive or change the card.


What happen , why njoi deactivate customer who didn't turn on for 3 weeks.It's much better as if lesser bandwidth signal connection usage from use. ?
Not urban area have transport to go to CS center .
