hi june resources, so meaning changing a new unit is the only choice right? initially i thought it is re-programmable ..so all the settings could readjusted.. graphic all still normal.. just the voice...i dont understand why they dont provide fixing? instead of asking people to change a new one ? i believe they could fix it ,just they hide this revealed truth from we customer...correct me if i am wrong.. thanks.

Changing new unit box is the best choice for yours one. Normally if there is any issued of graphic (make sure signal at least 70% or above) or sound issued (perhaps maybe the sound card problem of the box), suggested to replace whole new unit. If yours purchase whole set less than 1 year, then got warranty can replace new one. Else, need to purchase whole set.

Normally, they don't fix it because it take a long of time to check, investigate and even do testing. Even you re-programmable yourself, I guess there is nothing much affect. Because all is default setting one. Unless you are very technical, you can open up the box inside and see the board. If you are professional technical to do it, fix it yourself. Bt pls make sure once you open the box, there is no warranty anymore.

my warranty already long more than one year, or else why should i bother to fix it instead of calling the dealer directly..

now today i already paid RM385 fora whole new set.. but realize the remote control is smaller and the njoi decoder is even smaller now(without showing the channel and time anymore).. that small njoi decoder can withstand longer compared to my old njoi decoder i wonder? that technician seems avoid to answer when i asked him whether can tahan longer, just keep emphasizing it consume less electricity...

1. I am currently subsribed to astroiptv as my condo has the non full hd (1 wall port astro). Now i want to install njoi to one of the room with the astro wall port. Is it possible?
2. I hv 2 unused byond pvr decoders can i just reuse them for njoi by only getting the smartcard?

Any installer or dealer here can explain? I have contacted astro but to no avail.

Recently bought a 4k Tv and noticed that Njoi 8tv have choppy video not all but especially during Korean drama.

Did some read up and off all motion function but problem persist.

Tried all the resolution settings also same.

Didn't see this when using Hd ready plasma.

Is there something else we can do or it's a wrong frame rate from the source?

I watch 8Tv mainly but it didn't happen all the time. Mainly during Korean and Taiwanese drama.

Other channels occasionally would have the same problem.

Someone replied it's because there show recorded 30fps but broadcast at 25fps.

The house im renting already have the njoi dish installed, but the decoder is not available.

Is it possible for me to just buy the decoder without the complete set? And is it just ‘plug-and-play’ type to install the decoder or need to call the installation guy to set up the decoder?
