i think the pros' expectations are correct - no rate incr until 2h14, 25-50bps everything else constant.

the trouble is this weakens the rm like hell, today usd at 3.34, sgd at 2.635.

at this rate, 3.50 and 2.80 can be expected b4 yr end.

read somewhere bnm not expected to react proactively until usd gets to 3.80!!

Wat is d current yield?
*
Jupiter website write DY 4%.
However my price since 2011 was 1.129. I calculated
my nett yield for 2013 was 6.9% based on my purchase price.

However, if I sell today @ RM 1.35.. still got some capital gain.
Then use the money to purcase eg: YTL REIT? with highter yield?

But then again.. everytime, I sell off, price will start to fly... hmmm.....

how do we know if the price has been adjusted after the EX-date?

if we sell on the EX-date, we are still eligible for the dividend right??

Yes.

Your trading platform should indicate an "X" next to the stock name.

if u look at YTL, they are now focusing in UK. recently they took over one Hotels in London via their subsidiary YTL Hotels . I suspect they might inject the assets into YTL Reits latter hmm.gif

This should me minimal impact to Australia actually.
They are more to commodity, edu-tourism and IT-banking.
