Foreign funds continue AGGRESSIVE SELLING, dump RM1.1 billion net in M'sian stocks

KUALA LUMPUR - Foreign funds offloaded RM1.1 billion net Malaysian stocks in the open market last week in a continuation of their aggressive mode, said MIDF Research yesterday.

This makes it the 17th out of the last 18 weeks that foreign investors have been the net sellers. It is also the second week this year that the net sale amount exceeded RM1 billion, MIDF Research said in its weekly fund flows report.

Year-to-date, a total of RM4.78 billion have exited Malaysian equity market.

"In the last 18 weeks (the current phase of foreign selldown), a total of RM10.45 billion have exited Malaysian equity. That translates into an average of RM581 million a week, an increase from RM550 million previously," it noted.

Ok...if u wanna think this way...

1.22 less 3.5 sen divvy = 1.18 ex price on 15th Feb

Assuming divvy remain constant going forward, means 3.5 sen net divvy x 2 per year

7.0 sen / 1.18 = 5.9% net divvy

Good for u?

IGBREIT earnings expected to remain stagnant for next 2-3 years; at 5%+ DY, u have some stocks that are still growing like DLADY, MAYBANK etc.

Honestly I won't buy more IGBREIT until I get 6% net yield.

Then why did you buy at the first place with <5% net yield.. tongue.gif

This stock will not be totally stagnant, expected to grow 6% p.a. from rental revision from 2014-2015... slow growth but still got growth tongue.gif

icon_rolleyes.gif Okay, I sometimes do refer to the par value..
But isn't 6% DY quite good during tough times like now?

Yep... at such high rental demand there... the renters have no choice. This is the strength of a good location.

Current waiting list to rent at midvalley is > 1 year... tongue.gif

Then again ... it will be passed to the consumer... eventually.. ie YOU. laugh.gif
