QUOTE(TheAdmiral @ Mar 12 2014, 04:06 PM) The idea here is to make the joint thicker in hopes of filling up the cavity better since the moment it pop off some plastic in the cavity/joint has been strip off reducing surface contact which in turns making it loose. Cement once dries leaves no traces by itself, it just melts the plastic in order to bond it to other surfaces hence cement in this context serve no purpose. Super glue when dries form a layer over the plastic in essence making it thicker which is what we want. Use super glue if u wan to try this out. No guarantee though. If u decided to permanently glue the thing then cement is the better idea. Super glue once dry is brittle. i suggest using UHU. UHU dries a little rubbery, making joints tighter. super glue leaves a nasty white-fog-thing residue. bad for anything that's not white. i've opted for UHU to reinforce joints for several years now. no issues.

If wanna have a bit of discount, wait the upcoming Litt Tak Warehouse Sale. I estimate (base on previous warehouse sale date) they will start on 26th - 30th March 2014.

Warehouse prices compared to the hobby shops, normally not much difference +\- RM 10, but compared to departmental stores, very big difference.

"keep refrigerated" usually means "fridge". well, thanks for the advice. This post has been edited by zeroglyph: Mar 13 2014, 02:42 PM
