I just bought this phone recently and I realised that its kind of laggy, much more compared to K750i. Is it suppose to be like that?

and my phone also have arabic characters on the keypad. What version is this phone anyway?

Apart from the laggyness, so far this phone seems great with nice 3G capability.

Hmmmm I feel its snappier compared to W900i But it has some bugs which I hope can be solved by upgrading my firmware to R1CF001 but so far was unable to do so. I'm currently with R1CB001.

I believe yours should be AP set right? Maybe your set was imported from arabic country?

yeah, it has many languages compared to my friends one. Anyway how to check the firmware?

Go to Menu -> Settings -> Update Service -> Software Version

Altenatively, you can key in the following sequence at the standby screen (joystick right, star button, joystick left twice, star button, joystick left).

Mine also R1CB001. But I heard babyk mentioned that the latest firmware for K610i is R1CF001. I tried SEUS to update but it says I already have the latest firmware

You can read back the previous page as I mentioned some bugs I found on k610i.

I prefer the D-pad of this phone over K618 ones, looks more cooler IMO

But for the back camera/speaker design I feel otherwise, K618 one very similar to W810 camera/speaker, which is cool. But K610's back design looks like the good-old T series.

i just got this phone but i can't get my gprs to work. I went to Maxis website and has requested for the setting to be send to my phone. After I have installed the setting, I still cannot access any webpages from my phone. Anybody can help?

Try setting it manually. The setting should be available at maxis website (if you can't find your phone then look for the one similar).

try to look for K800i one..
i think it should be the same..
or look at the SE site one...

thanks all. The problem was solved after I upgraded my simcard to 3G simcard. Not sure what's the problem was but it is working fine now.

actually the gprs prob can be solved by restarting the fon after install the setting
when u change simcard, u restart the fon

actually, before I upgraded the simcard, I have restarted the phone many times after installing the setting but still the same. Don't know what's the problem.

want to ask fans here, did K610i AP set got white color or not, im helping my friends finding, and i ask one shop give me K610i is rm865 ap set is it ok ah .

dun have white colour, now only got silver and red. latter will have black colour that support i-mode. RM 865 is quite OK edi ^^ considering last time i bought mine (bout 1 month a go) is RM 950. Good luck..
