Dear SE K610i users, do u guys know how to flash the firmware to support chinese language.

Besides paying by download from Wotan server online to get the latest R1EJ001 n pay 7euros, any other methods to upgrade the firmware?

It is because, i went to ask n the shop's people said need to put the phone there for 1 whole day to flash it, cost about RM45!

i think hv to check ur k610i's CID as well.. not all k610i are flash-able. (correct me if i'm wrong)

K610i now available @maxis center 4 onee rm1140! no more poinz poinz needed. ori with warranty + 256mb card. it's actually da siti phone, but can just peel off da sticker lah. no marks one!

rm 1140 i think get midland 1 better la... later when on keep see maxis only..

Hey guys, I just got the K610i a few days ago. It's AP set from 3 (some HK company) and everytime I make a call or send a message, a screen pops up and says "Connection failure. Check settings. If problem persists, please contact your mobile operator"

Is this caused by the firmware?

honestly i like the speaker
loud and clear
and when i turn it to max
its like resonance
the fon itself like vibrating (not like vibe sync in e398 but the feeling kinda good)
and what i like most is the J7.1 ability, that can run more than 1 java prog simultaneously
i try open 6 games, but still didnt lag
kinda good lar this fon

I just updated my K610i through SEUS. The latest software for APAC is R1ED001.

The R1EJ001 you mentioned may be for another region, or it could be a beta release.

Anyway, this latest software R1ED001 has improved the speed of the GUI. Not so laggy like before. So far, this is the only difference I can feel. Camera pic quality still damn bloody lousy...

To answer your question, I assume your phone is still under warranty. If so, take it back to where you bought the phone. Ask the people who sold the phone to you to re-flash your phone's software to APAC version. They'll do it for you for free if your phone's still under warranty.

this is the fanclub ah for K610i ? i couldnt find a red 1 for ap so ended up with grey 0.0 ... the red 1 is really sexy! Btw can we change the casing n keypad in SE service centre, last time helped my fren changed a whole new casing and pad but cost like 100+
