Does the matte back cover of the Nexus 5 attract dust easily? My place is very very easy to have dust so thats a concern to me cuz i want to get black colour.
Also, i know the review about the speaker, but how loud is it? I mean is it too low? Cuz i got used to HTC One speaker, where i can here someone calling while i was having a shower, plus i felt like throwing my phone away while the alarm goes off in the morning. It is so loud that it is annoying. Not that i am complaining, but does the Nexus 5 does the job? I dont listen to music on loudspeaker and i have bad taste in sound so the quality doesnt matter. |

Most of use use case anyways. Also, i know the review about the speaker, but how loud is it? I mean is it too low? The speaker is loud enough and the quality is decent for a phone, still better than my Samsung S3.. |

QUOTE(xxdesire @ Feb 12 2014, 03:29 PM) Only when you play Youtube video? from the app or browser? Using custom kernel & rom does not help as it make the phone reboot more often. The worst I tried so far is CM11.Some users been reporting about their phone having random reboot; some reported that it was the kernel issue, after they flashed custom kernel, their problem (keep rebooting) been solved. By the way, I have reflash factory image and relock the bootloader. |

It does attract a bit of dust, but not too bad, so no worries. The soft touch back feels really good Also, i know the review about the speaker, but how loud is it? I mean is it too low? The speaker is decent and loud enough, but of course can't beat the HTC One's speakers (I was spoiled by HTC One's speakers also as I used to have one before switching to Nexus 5 |

QUOTE(tanjinjack @ Feb 11 2014, 12:00 AM) Yup, I notice some little improvement. It manages to make my WiFi on and off according to my usage (previously, Google will force WiFi on all the time for location pooling for Google Now and who knows what secret they have). If you let Battery Guru to disable most push services (which I didn't) you should be able to get more battery life, too. I would say, my battery can last me a day without charging. Normally i charge in the mornin in office. By following morning, i can still have roughly 65% n above battery left.. Usages is more on watsapp, a few phone calls and minimal fb/reading news..It comes with a nifty companion app called Glance which offers a very interesting concept. Try it out (I decide not to use them because it breaks the Holo look IMHO). I have seen some1 using it in Tesco Ampang, i guess he was the early adopters as it was a week after Nexus5 just launched in oct/novthey even wanted to get one until they see the camera performance is not up to par at all |

Verdict on N5 from Forbes:
In working closely with Google for a second time, LG has produced the definitive Android handset to date. The HTC One may have an edge on stylish build materials and the Samsung Galaxy S4 has a slightly better camera, but the Nexus 5 is faster than both, comes with the latest Android software and is almost half the price. In fact it is even a more comfortable, usable and much more affordable version of the premium LG G2 upon which it is based. Furthermore the key thing is this is a budget phone which looks set to last. Three months of intense use without any form of case or screen protector has seen the Nexus 5 survive a variety of drops with no obvious visible marks and it has continued to work flawlessly. One exception is the paint on the protective camera ring which has a couple of chips, but it is simply doing its job shielding the lens. Battery life will be the main issue for Nexus 5 owners. Do switch to ART at the earliest possible opportunity, but still be prepared to spend a short time plugged into a power socket late afternoon if you want it to last all day. You’ll have a similar experience with an iPhone 5C/5S and HTC One, but the Samsung Galaxy S4 and – in particular – the LG G2 are better in this regard. Then again we have hopes software will improve matters. Certainly the tweaks in Android 4.4.2 have made the Nexus 5 camera genuinely impressive while those who buy a Nexus 5 now will get a model with improved speaker performance. Living with the Nexus 5 has confirmed its qualities as the best all-around Android phone. Buy one and you’re bagging not only a bargain, but a bargain that will last. http://www.forbes.com/sites/gordonkelly/20...rm-owners-test/ |
