This is how long my battery can last me for occasional Facebook, Instagram and Whatsapp. Rooted with Stock ROM + Stock Kernel + very light touch of Gravity Box

TB, Greenify and Xposed. I have Busybox come installed, have no idea what is it for lol.

I came from Note II with the insane battery life too. I also don't use all its features but "karate chop"

See back my previous post on the battery life I had with my Nexus 5, occasional Whatsapp, Facebook, Instagram and browsing with Chrome gives battery life of 1 Day and 16 Hours with 2 hours plus SOT. Pretty amazing already cos this is pure Vanilla Android with nothing EXTRA running in background.

I know right??? Red came out 1 week after I got my Black and I was like "dayum". Well, what's most important is that the phone serves its true purpose to our daily life. Haha.

You can check my post a few pages back on my battery life, wifi on almost 90% of the time with light usage on Whatsapp, Facebook and Instagram. Lasted me for 1 day and 18 hours. if you are heavy on whatsapp, probably you can last you til night time if you full charge it by morning. It depends on individual usage seriously.

It will switch back to Dalvik after reboot. Happens to mine, switch it to ART, reboot then I check in setting still Dalvik.

I continue to use Xposed because of Gravity Box, light tweak while staying at stock as possible. I can easily get 1 Day and 12 hours battery life with 2hours+ SOT so it is pretty good for me already.

Yes. But beware that unlocking bootloader will wipe all data.
