QUOTE(bugb34r @ Feb 9 2014, 03:59 PM) Yeah man. Enable that. Change MTP / PTP, you name it, i've tried it all. Lol. I even install Google USB driver via SDK, same thing. T_T If you cannot even have it detected on windows 7 probably is your usb port issues. Only windows 8.1 is at times problematic but could be solve with all those proposals offered. On my previous N7 on windows 8.1 i solve it finally reinstalling drivers from mskip toolkit |

Verdict on N5 from Forbes:
In working closely with Google for a second time, LG has produced the definitive Android handset to date. The HTC One may have an edge on stylish build materials and the Samsung Galaxy S4 has a slightly better camera, but the Nexus 5 is faster than both, comes with the latest Android software and is almost half the price. In fact it is even a more comfortable, usable and much more affordable version of the premium LG G2 upon which it is based. Furthermore the key thing is this is a budget phone which looks set to last. Three months of intense use without any form of case or screen protector has seen the Nexus 5 survive a variety of drops with no obvious visible marks and it has continued to work flawlessly. One exception is the paint on the protective camera ring which has a couple of chips, but it is simply doing its job shielding the lens. Battery life will be the main issue for Nexus 5 owners. Do switch to ART at the earliest possible opportunity, but still be prepared to spend a short time plugged into a power socket late afternoon if you want it to last all day. You’ll have a similar experience with an iPhone 5C/5S and HTC One, but the Samsung Galaxy S4 and – in particular – the LG G2 are better in this regard. Then again we have hopes software will improve matters. Certainly the tweaks in Android 4.4.2 have made the Nexus 5 camera genuinely impressive while those who buy a Nexus 5 now will get a model with improved speaker performance. Living with the Nexus 5 has confirmed its qualities as the best all-around Android phone. Buy one and you’re bagging not only a bargain, but a bargain that will last. http://www.forbes.com/sites/gordonkelly/20...rm-owners-test/ |

QUOTE(C-Note @ Feb 13 2014, 02:17 PM) hey guys if i do factory reset(for flashing rom) on Nexus(no sd card), will i lose all the nandroid and TB? Yes. You should do all such backup on thumb drive through usb otg cable. Use twrp recovery to do nandroid backup . N5 internal memory already so small n you are wasting space unnecessaryThis post has been edited by benny888: Feb 13 2014, 02:22 PM |

Depend on seller but is mainly Australia, Japan these days. Most important is make sure is model D821 as only this model its LTE is compatible here. QUOTE(Spootid @ Feb 27 2014, 12:09 PM) No problems in getting software support ya...??? Like firmware update... maybe even Google Play apps...? You must be new to Android. All android phones ( except some China source which doesnt come w playstore) will never have such issues on app update. Firmware update no one can match Nexus as they will get it first as is google phone |

QUOTE(NightFelix @ Feb 28 2014, 04:09 PM) I think you will be moving from SOT 2hours(Nexus 4) to SOT 3hours(Nexus 5) without any customization. Correct me if I'm wrong. Nexus 4 SOT easily 4 hours for me with 3g on 24/7 n 80% of time on internet services. 2 hours is terribleThere is a N4 user who posted 6 hours SOT but all on wifi This post has been edited by benny888: Feb 28 2014, 04:16 PM |
