Ya, I usually put power limit to 20% for gaming since the card will throttle if the load is too high on the GPU (it can't run at full 1000Mhz on my card). Be advised if you use 20% the GPU will produce more heat depending on games. Only set it before gaming, kinda safer since if the OC is not stable the PC will always reboot in stock speed. |

It won't because BSOD is only causes by unstable high clock speed during full load. Booting into Windows won't get the card running at full speed, hence BSOD would not happen. Stock R9-290 CFx 900p, later will do 1080p, GPU scaling is quite good from single to CFx in this bench. 
OC'ed 1150/1325
