Compatibility issue between your power management system and Windows
Your power management system isn't compatible with this version of Windows.

The model name of your power management system is Lenovo ACPI-Compliant Virtual Power Controller.

My Y50 Win8.1 Action Center showing the above message.

I already have the latest driver and latest Energy Management, anyone know what's the issue?

Yesterday I got a pop up message asking me to put my laptop to conversation mode as constant charging above 70% is not good for the battery (something like that, as I forgot to screen capture).

The point is, my laptop already in conservation mode using the energy management application.

Now it made me feel that the microsoft action center message is correct thus rendering the energy management application I've installed not really working?

I never encountered MAC (Microsoft Action Center) try to negotiate with me on the battery matters. I do not believe charging above 70% would cause damage to your battery. The same concept applied to handphone. You will charge the phone to 100 %.

What I am doing is turn off the conservation mode first and let it charge to 100 %. Afterward, I'll turn back on the conservation mode And using power adapter all the way.

Note : Click on the message and put it to archieve

digital mall already got display for asus g551jm with gtx 860 2gb vram with rm3,399 while lenovo y50 rm3,599. both also not using ips screen. no doubt asus screen look better & keyboard. lenovo can easily change the screen but ddon't have msata & also no extra space for storage. i wait for new laptop that come with gtx 9series before april 2015 where tax implement.

There's an extra setting somewhere deeper inside the Lenovo application, it just stops the battery from charging more than 70%.

This is not the same thing as power conservation mode (performance, balanced, low power etc).

conservative mode not keep battery max at 60%?
