Hopefully the new clutch or new "whatever" will resolve the jerky erratic transmission of the Ford Focus/Fiesta once and for all. Nowadays I can feel that the acceleration of the car is not as powerful when I step on the pedal. The car does accelerate when I step on the pedal, but it takes a bit of time before the car would respond to the pedal action.

1.5 Ecoboost will likely be more powerful than the 2.0-litre model. It will almost certainly be an improvement apart from having more advantages with the turbo-boost engine. Most car manufacturers are going this route these days due to the advantages of turbo-charged vs. normally-aspirated engines. Not only lower tax but more fuel-efficient in normal driving and more acceleration power in fast-n-furious mode.

Just went for my 50,00km service last week. I was put on waiting list for clutch replacement which SC says is minimum 4 months wait. Wonder if they are waiting for the "new" clutch to arrive.

I did a firmware upgrade sometime back. Jerking problem was reduced but car power was seriously affected and could not really feel the original pick up. But jerking problem came back so I asked them to "uninstall" the upgrade and pick up was better. But jerking was there and got worse til now tak tahan so going for replacement. SC says I gotta leave car there for 4 days to do the replacement.

Told by who??? SDAC PJ? Warranty transparency is not there. No one really knows what are cover and what not.

Last time when i bought the car from SDAC when Edward (ex-branch/sales manager) still around, he stated everything cover except the tyres within the 60K.

Tones of people claims their wipers and brake pads before 60k warranty expired. Even your wiper and brake pads are still in good condition during 60k warranty services and you had yet to make any claim on the wiper and brake pads, you can request for the parts and keep it with yourself until you feel like changing it later.

I missed my 20k service at 2020 Motor Trading last saturday, the need a letter that state the the voucher or my service is free..... duhz... I search at home on all the docu I got after that and can't find any.. I done my 10k at PJ did not required that letter too, is anyone encounter the same issue as me?

Call to my SA, he ask me to log a complaint... duhz... me gonna missed 20k by this coming Saturday

Yes, the grip and bite is really there. Noise level at the moment is actually more quiet than Primacy LC, but that is due to my ageing Michelin haha.. But having switched to Performance Tyre, I am ready for the extra noise.

Mine is Sports+ so its stock at 215/50R17. I was contemplating between PS3 and RE003 but then since RE003 is newer and more aggressive style rubber. Price is around there for the size though and lesser than PS3
