if set higher, then you can connect with higher speed (if tmnuts didnt throttle)
which it can connect to more peer, and get more speed

but if you use too many those half-open tcp connection
some modem may not support it, and you will experience dc frequently

anyway, at the new half-open tcp limit, i have set to 50
then i go to http://192.168.1.1/ and set to 50 also

but in my bitcomet settings, i juz set to 10 tongue.gif

who see this before??

what port is that?? unsure.gif
see it only in 0.76
his Initiation is Remote
Client Type is BitComet 0.76*DHEv2*

new function for 0.76???

i use Riger DB102
to set it, go to Services > Firewall

in Dlink......
see is there any option call 'Firewall'
and see is there got any settings about 'Max Half-Open TCP Connection'

i dunno anything about Dlink... laugh.gif

i have this curiousity...since the "Max Half-Open TCP Connection" is in FireWall configuration, is it workable even with FireWall (modem/router's and windows firewall) disabled?

i aledi use it before the last month throttle
at that time, tmnuts aledi start to do BT shaping
but with Protocol Encryption enable
they cant check it becoz the bt have make some packet on it

now, they use another technology that can go through this packet
thats why it will not improve our speed even we enable it

try go to check is your download are all from Malaysia IP??
maybe you enable it to let you get data from local ip only
but without enable it, maybe both international and local also cant get
