even wan search stuff also kenot....
but my pc no hang wor... jus the internet kenot connect...  i do limit my speed... cos if i don limit... right after i start download task.. my connection straight away dc... at least when i limit.. i still can use for a while

Do a portfoward, get your router model's and find it at http://www.portfoward.com and do a portfoward.

QUOTE(Tsukasa @ Aug 11 2007, 10:19 AM)
I used 0,90 before but dont kinda like it cz it eats up all my ram.. Imagine when i dl 20 torrent together.. it eats up my ram like no tomorrow.. around 250mb..

So I downgrade back to 0.73 and no problem since then as 20 torrent just took me 60mb. lol..

Not so sure regarding version 0.66 is super fast though.

Nowdays try changing to IRC. Torrent is getting slower as days goes by thanks to our service provider. lol
*
Surely for that because you run 20 task at same time.. why do you want to do so? Even if you run all 20 task, the speed might get from worse to worst..

For those who's having crash problem with BC 0.66se............Try to move your download directory to the 'torrents' folder in the BC 0.66se installation directory............

Riger DB102 is the modem that tmnuts give to us since last year... maybe July
since that Torrent also will cause hang, i think it is only possible that your connection or modem/router have problem

try check is your modem and router are overheat
if not, then maybe is the connection problem

Yep it's possible.
Just follow the steps below:-
  • My Computer > Tools > Folder Options > View > Untick 'Hide extension for known file types'
  • Go to the folder that your files are half-way-downloaded.
  • You will see the file name like.. "Movie_2006.avi.bc!"
  • Rename it to "Movie_2006.avi.!ut"
  • Go to uTorrent and load the torrent, directory = the current half-way-download directory (Example you saved in C:\Downloads in BitComet), so choose C:\Downloads here as well)
  • "Force hash-check/recheck/whatever to check the files"
  • Your file will continue downloading from what it have left before.

But then, personally.. I don't recommend uTorrent tho. Even it does save ram, but the speed is hell slow. By comparing Xunlei, BitComet and uTorrent. Xunlei > BitComet > uTorrent or BitComet > Xunlei > uTorrent (depends on situation for xunlei vs bitcomet)

in this step, i think the better way is to remove the bc! extension and make it to .avi extension only
didnt need to add !ut extension

@sohailili
he is my fren in same school actually, we will not quarrel icon_rolleyes.gif
juz hope he know what he post, and understand what we post
