But somehow, if same torrent (Same seed, peers) and comparing it by BitComet SE 0.66, BitComet 0.89, Xunlei 5.
If the torrent have high seeders and xunlei is able to connect to them, I can get high speed as high as 160KB/s (1MB package)
But if Xunlei couldn't connect to the seeders, I only get 0~2KB/s. So BitComet is better when Xunlei cannot connect to the seeders.

I use both Xunlei and BitComet 0.89(Lazy to upgrade to .9x)

I haven't switch back to 0.66 and i actually skip it to the declared stable 1 0.70 unitl now.

I google around and this is what i figure out here about the crashed thingy of 0.66. Actually when it crashed, the torrent needs more time to hunt for peer/seeders. It's time to acquire the torrentflux services for me.

Not really true about the 'malaysian seeder'. TMNet throttled Local Peers as well. That's why MyTorrent is starting to 'dying' already..

When torrenting, we suppose to open the port for the apps isn't?

When I open the port, the download speed become 1-5kb.

But when I blocked it(means i use other port which I didn't open)
Download speed boost up to 20-40kb

Wonder how's that happen huh?

Best is with Direct Downloads. Still can get 150KB/s++ with xunlei (100KB/s+ with bitcomet)
No way that they can throttle Direct Download. Throttle Direct Download = throttle surfing as well.

No, but BitComet 0.66 Special Edition might or might not better than BitComet 0.91.

anyone know why sometimes ED will auto start with BC but sometimes not? depends on torrent file? how to make it load all the time?

Other country also not much difference.. SG = good speed but using bittorent is illegal.. while some other countries limit the dl/ul rate.

still using bitcomet 0.66SE for 2weeks ++...... the download speed is good compare with other client (utorrent, xunlei,tuotu, etc).. but sometimes the speed drop a bit... maybe coz by the peers...

Never experienced this before. But you really shouldn't download/upload 9 tasks at the same time.. it will affect your speed
