haha.. same thing happen to me earlier..
now my solution is simple.. play louder music.. loud enuf to mask the road noise.. smile.gif

But the XV speaker not very sedap also..
After sound proofing done the speaker more solid, this also another tempting part..

Went to AE today, not many accessories left, new stock will be coming next month.
And also drop by kl auto, the sound proofing cost rm1k, the shop owner new cx5 2.5 just done the sound proofing, when try to knock the door huge diff, feel more solid. 30% noise reduced. Currently the material not enough.. Need to call them to make booking again. Tested the material, like a thick tape, but very light, can tahan heat, the staff tried to burn the rubber with lighter few minutes, no smell, no melting.

im using the blue Raizin, so far so good...
u can try lelong.com if u want Mega or the Raizin...
seems legit...
he claims his units are original, has all the right features for not being a ciplak..
i think 145 for the blue, and 345 for the purple (with grounding cables)
Eneos was selling 450 for Mega, right? i saw it too last saturday.. gila lah...
*
Eneos selling 480 for mega, Rm145 for the blue one if not mistaken.

yours one just stick next to battery?

i have full confident with the k&n filter, as i installed one for my old ford escape few years back. that time i installed k&n and the quadcore performance cable, can feel the immediate effect, mileage gain about 10 - 20%. the cleaning kits i bought it at eneos.

See email below from Subaru Malaysia wrt to the K&N Filter. Aiks... now im not too sure whether i want to install it or not. As for the tufoil additive.. i would do it as they will not be able to find out.
"""Godd day to you.

With regards to your query as attached, herewith our respond to you doubt.
For your information, the K&N air filter is not an OEM part for our Subaru XV. The usage of not standard or non OEM part will cause your warranty void.

We hope you will consider not to use the non OEM part in order to maintain your warranty as provided by Motorimage.

Thank you and best regards.

or you can put it in and take it out before service.

It is not really an installation. You literally slot out the existing and slot in the K&N and vice versa.

Similarly voltage stabiliser can be removed easily.

But if you are really not comfortable to do these yourself, then better you don't buy them. Otherwise you will not be able to remove them before the 20k service or you will always have to go to some workshop and pay someone to help you remove it.
*
Yea, I know. Am plan to take it out before sending for 20k service. Since my xv clocked almost 8k think four more weeks to go for 10k service. And also a good start for testing purposes. Now having 9.2L per 100km, after k&n and vs see can get better fc or not.
