QUOTE(sleepwalker @ Jan 15 2014, 02:16 PM) Unfortunately the XV is using the FB engine and not the FA. Boxer fans would mod the FA Performance engine and not the economical FB engine. I see, thanks for the info to know more about the engine. just googled around FB20 and FA20..The engine in the 2.0i Impreza is a 2.0L DOHC, 16-valve, horizontally opposed, 4-cylinder SUBARU BOXER engine producing 148 hp @ 6200 rpm. Using sequential multiport fuel injection. The engine in the BRZ is 2.0L DOHC, 16-valve, horizontally opposed, 4-cylinder SUBARU BOXER engine producing 200 hp @ 7000 rpm using direct and port fuel injection. How can two cars with the exact same displacement can produce such different HP outputs. I understand the injection system and the ignition systems are different. Is this enough to contribute an additional 50hp? http://www.reddit.com/r/cars/comments/1c557n/ |

QUOTE(pai3355 @ Jan 24 2014, 12:48 PM) I spoke to my fren (instructor) this morning and he said he can guide us if we want to go along the yellow path. But nobody knows the current condition. He advised me to check with him on this saturday, using his motorcycle When? fix the date so everyone can mark their calender, and can encourage each other to join or just meet up for TT.In front of taman ekuestrian should be no problem at all (see light offroad area on map). The area is about 50acres of sand/mud. After that can have a teatime at taman ekuestrian cafe. |

QUOTE(abundai @ Jan 28 2014, 02:33 PM) i normally pump when all visible fuel bar are gone (there are 10 in total i think).. how you control bro?usually a total of 50 litres (xv tank is 60litres) first start up, the system will show ur total milage u can cover with a ful tank is 690km i normaly clock 560km with 50litres... average of 8-9litres/100km on the centre dash display... total of 690km would probably mean the whole tank (60litres) so according to my limited math skills 560/100km = 5.8 50litres /5.8 = 8.6litres /100km so i guess the indicator is correct when it shows 8-9litres/100km... and i do like like to play with semi auto and step on full throttle (when the road is clear) most of the time... with cruising, im sure can get lower... i got 9-11L per 100km.. and got 7.8 (less than 10 min then back to 8.x) during my trip to Melaka. Everyday jam to work, and night time "fly" balik rumah. |

QUOTE(abundai @ Jan 28 2014, 02:50 PM) i rarely caught in a traffic jam... traffic jam suck all the juice... maybe for some 5-10 minutes of moving traffic daily.. other than that, its an average of 80-110km/h... i use semi-auto a.k.a paddle shift when there is no traffic jam... spent average 50 - 70 mins in the jam during working days |

Did you guys trust the meters, if the Tank light is on, and the meter shows still can go for 120km.
