because the price is controlled, they have to reduce price using this way lo

i have no idea who on earth would still get the new perdana when a subaru SUV is priced lower than a local brand sedan
*
What way? this is not pre-reg or 2015 ex-stock discount.
looks like direct discount to me.

Miti might be controlling car prices to protect proton, so lets say subaru wanted to sell at 140k to attract customer from other car brand, but then miti say no, so they launch 150k officially then give discount become 140 or 130k lo
*
i am assuming too high discount also cannot because some Peugeot models (2016 stock) is giving something like 20% discount via pre-reg.

u owned this color ?
*
nope. i m just suggesting. wink.gif
silver & white are common.
black & dark gray are too dark & become less conspicuous at night. my personal experience reversing into a dark car because i don't see it anymore from my rear mirror.

Forester 2.0i 2016 is cheaper than XV 2016 2.0i-P.......... weird also  blink.gif
*
QUOTE(Mr.Docter @ May 27 2016, 04:24 PM)
So I am not alone wondering about this. Hmm.
*
well XV 2016 2.0i-P has some fancy feature Forester 2.0i doesn't has.
I think is more valid to compare with Forester 2.0i-P.

Anyone knows how much discount they are giving 2016 XV? I think they r still clearing 2015 stock.
talk about confusion, check their price list for XV. Looks like the first 2 is 2016 & the last 3 is 2015.

Very nice details....

For 2.0L, I definitely choose Forester hahah.
If op for more performance and value for money then 2.5L CX5 but miss AWD.

Forester win in term of Safety and Interior while CX5 2.5L win overall with addtional point on value due to the cheapest 2.5L (plus 19" Rims) in the market even lower than 2.4L/2.5L sedan or best/reasonable 2.5L FC (due to Skyactive). Give and take....prefer more safety or more performance...

However, 2.5L will be double roadtax and ~1k per 19" tyre for Toyo brand....

Again all scoring (point 1, 2 & 3) only my own preference haha!!
*
great analysis spreadsheet u hv there. Can u attached it here?
personally, i would give lower or equal score fir some feature due to practicality & maintenance consideration like the 19" wheel & the electric parking brake.

not sure if its 2015 or 2016 model
*
definitely 2015 model. why want to clear 2016 showroom model in 2016?
later we might see RM88,888 for test drive car.

That's on the highway.. How about 80% town use? Should be around 12l/100km?
*
90% highway at 110-120km/h can get 7.8l/100km. no city/town use experience but i guess with light foot drive i hope is still less than 10l/100km.

where u heard 12l/100km?

Good point, I didn't thought about my mileage if I am able to fully utilize that or not.

Then I am pretty sure now I will opt out the free maintenance & labor and enjoy the 10K discount.

Anyone able to share how to minimize the cost of the regular service that will be charge by SC to maintain the warranty of the vehicle ?

Sorry for the noob question.
*
i hate dilemma.

don't forget to maintain warranty, one has to follow service interval even service mileage has not reach.
can one go for service/engine oil change after 9 month without warranty void?
is all depends how strict is the SC. My friend told me Nissan SA told him just to follow mileage.

so how? best to get the warranty?

but the RM10K could worth more than RM10K, but the RM93K of the maintenance fee though might increase but may not be much.
*
check with SA properly the type of 2015 stock? are they brand new, showroom car, etc
