there is a manual which is kind of confusing too. i tried changing once but failed.

went for 5k service & test drive forester for fun.
considering it has the same engine as XV but with a much heavier body, it doesn't show any sluggishness but seems like more responsive & smoother feel than XV.

not surprise at all if tuning is different. i am told the air intake system/technology is different & cvt oil also different. recommended to use forester cvt oil on xv for regular long distance driving on 40k gear oil change.

1500 for windscreen, 500 for tinted film.
i planning to go for 1500 next year.

do u wear a ring?

i uses some leather cleaning lotion that doesn't leave any shine or slightest greasy feel. do not use water or wet cloth on leather.

Have you try finding any service to leather wrap the steering?

stated in the manual not to rev over 4k for the first 1600km (1000 miles). also not to drive at consistent speed for long duration which i find that is difficult. i think the best if u can drive in manual node as u can control when to change gear. now when ever i get to stop at traffic light with no cars, i will switch to manual mode & rev until over 4k before changing gear.

2.0i-P with push start & power seat?

is there discount/promotion? I believe is 124k OTR.
sometimes i wonder the 2015 stock promo (not the recent display stock) during the 1st quarter of 2016 is really worth (even for other brand).

if 119k otr for 2.0i-P could b a good deal or u might want to take full refund & wait another few months for year end promotion. is just another 3 months.

civic is a nice but i would seriously consider its very low ground clearance.

looks like orange & DK not so much demand bcos they give extra 1k discount.

it is written in the manual. engine oil 5L, CVT oil 12.3L

as the old saying goes: if it ain't broke don't fix it

it is unfortunate cars are expensive here and a lot of basic new tech features are taken off to reduce cost/increase profit.

it is all the "new" and "latest" tech urge that we want. after sometime the urge will wear off.

just enjoy the drive....

this should tell us better use what is originally fitted & save the $$$.
