QUOTE(E-J@1 @ Jul 18 2007, 09:00 PM) aiyo, don't expect the temp will nice la if u using SFF Yeah if really wanna cool ur proc, go water cooling Water cooling solves your worries. Even my NT06 on the AMD X2 3600+, my board shows the temp to be around 60C in a 20C air cond room. My PSU is sucking the heat from the NT06 too. I think i might wanna try to change to the Scythe Andy Samurai as an alternative, not sure if it'll be too high for the height or not, but anyone else with other advices ? |

QUOTE(oldfox @ Jul 18 2007, 03:46 PM) Hmmm.... my PSU just on top of the NT-06 without fan, so it just straight suck the hot air through the PSU fan You mean there's no active fan for the cooler ... the PSU fan is the only one that do the air exhaust task ???and in front i got 1 fan come with the casing, another one is using NT06 fan... so the GC temp no face any problem and behind the casing, got many hole, i think is for cooling actually, and i can feel hot air come out from those hole as well.... but the CPU temp still hard to reduce... aiksss |

i think max orb from thermatltake is quite good, the temp is just 2-3c higher than big typhoon vx, which is good and it is short too.

I sold my BX6 to ^666^.. Last weekend went to LYP to sell off my PDA. After that, my foot just brought me lurking around and went pass through ATE. Saw the PC-V3000B so we go.. I was thinking to buy end of this year when I have enough dough to upgrade my P4 to C2D...
But temptations too strong.. » Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « More pics coming up tmrw As promised yesterday.. I can only put the VGA slot when the mobo tray is slide in. Else there is no way the VGA can pass thru. This post has been edited by bioweapon83: Jul 22 2007, 06:35 PM |

Did you see any other cheaper SFF around LYP? Around RM200+- would be just nice for me. |

QUOTE(mengfui @ Jul 22 2007, 06:52 PM) Pretty tough to get less than 200+ unless you lucky enough to get some 2nd hand casing.BTW, more pics of PC-V3000B Closeup on big aluminum heat sink on VGA stuck at the casing ![]() CPU HSF clearance space with the PSU. ![]() Relining all the wire properly for better airflow ![]() Nothing is blocking the airflow ![]() Close up on the wires ![]() Really need to use sleeving kit already There are 2 more 40mm fans I still thinking whether to get it or not and any effect to cool down the CPU area. QUOTE(ben3003 @ Jul 23 2007, 08:11 AM) I think market price is about RM530-RM550 depends on the stock since it's a new casing and pretty high demand. I am not sure if ksl got it from Singapore then maybe the price is diff. |

QUOTE(jy14 @ Jul 20 2007, 01:01 AM) Yeah hehe..thats not the heatsink problem, its the board problem. it shows the temperature too high but that is just a figure, the real temperature is not as high. i assume you still using the same board and the same proc as i do, Abit NF-M2 and 3600+brisbane, old BIOS of the board has a compability problem with brisbane processor.Water cooling solves your worries. Even my NT06 on the AMD X2 3600+, my board shows the temp to be around 60C in a 20C air cond room. My PSU is sucking the heat from the NT06 too. I think i might wanna try to change to the Scythe Andy Samurai as an alternative, not sure if it'll be too high for the height or not, but anyone else with other advices ? updating your BIOS to 1.4 will definitely fix the problem. i also has the same high temperature before, but after the update, now it shows 47C with stock fan running 50%. Imagine what it'll do in your rig with the NT06 running 100% |
