Guys,

Need your advise. My friend just bought new Vios and due to human error, got few paint scratch. Plastic dashboard, side doors plastic and fabric seat seems getting dirty. Easy solution is going to car wash center but for DIY (Do It Yourself), my question;

1. Any good car waxing brand especially reduce paint scratches.
2. Interior car care brand- fabric seats and dashboard.
3. Any products for cleaning tyre and wheel?

Thank you.

Regards,

Rassan

sorry to say all the 3 generation of vios are having the same horse power since they are using the same engine/power plant 1NZ-FE which produce 109bhp.

I would have gone for the City instead of Vios actually since City's highest spec is still cheaper than TRD and overall the City seems to be equipped with more functions than Vios.

But I needed a car urgently so I went for the Vios. But so far not much to complain about the car lar. Just the front knocking sound that pissed me off.

But I guess Vios gives a better ride comfort than City ? Knocking is it from the suspension ?

I will still go for vios with its nice interior design and exterior sporty design.
Additionally vios have tiny bit higher resale value compared to city.
Only issue is not much techs and low safety features.

City on the other hand is ugly like its big sister civic ( but not as ugly as saga or polo sedan) and especially when you do not buy the high end model the interior looks as if a big patch hole in the center board. The lowest end city's interior looks more like a proton saga. Sadly, At first glance city looks like a facelift of its previous generation.
Techs and Features are quite excellent as they seem to take Korean car approach giving many feature to increase their history of low sales rate.

Only if city is designed correctly both interior and exterior looks, it might have changed my mind to get it.
In my opinion, I would wait for 2014 Jazz as it have a better sporty design and I'm sure there will be the good same features like in city.

I have own prvious gen of city and vios. I would say vios is a better car to owned. It has less problem and lower maintenance cost overall.

Didn't test the City yet. No idea where the knocking sound comes from. But Toyota is well aware of this issue but they do not know what is the cause of it therefore no solution yet.

You may try to Off the Recirculation Mode for a few minutes, the On it back. It allows the air flow through the systems, not just within the system. See if it works

in my opinion, for japs b-seg, if budget between
6x~7xk, almera, im big mitsu fans but i don't trust attrage
7x~8xk, vios, as city low spec meter is totally unacceptable for me
8x~9xk city, wtf, 6 bola, apa u mau lagi? lol

and i find city front roof give me very much pressure, especially sun shade part, i personally don't like that feeling
