Is it possibly if im charging my phone using the usb port on my HU....it seem i cant play using USB n phone..when try to press the mode it only change to FM n AM..

Hi bros, my friend owned a Toyota Vios year 2009 i think. He car got a weird problem as in like.

1. When driving be it on high speed or normal speed, when brake , sometime there is a *tut* *tut* *tut* sound coming out.

2. Then sometime one of his tyre will suddenly lose air as in tyre pancit. But when to tyre shop and checked, found that there are no holes on the tyre. His tyre only 4 months old.

I think the problem only starting to occur after he change the rims.

so he didn't manage to solve it?

Then how about sudden lost of tyre air?

well in the future i plan to upgrade my hu to touchscreen.. but i guess the cover also need to change? as our HU cover part till air cond part.. hmm..?

Hu cover can buy from toyota or outside de? i think the air cond vent also link to the cover?

About 2 weeks for mine.

I'm thinking to get them to replace for the lower arm as well to see if it helps.

last time they tighten mine too. after 2 days, knocking sound come back. I strongly suspect its not engine mounting issue but the lower arm is the real cause?

hows the knocking sound working out after they tighten it few days? no more knocking sound anymore?.. just some brief update you~

Saw a message from sales man at automotive garage written that  G&TRD spec had a better reduce noise than other J and E spec is that true???

From your experiences, which HU is worth to buy?

As some picture look similar & the price got a big gab also some with similar function.

My requirement for HU as per below,

1) HU with Mininum button on the right or left side

2) Support Mirror Link, so i can use it for my GPS

3) Support reserve camera.

I got no plan to improve my audio system. Just need dedicate player. I dun mind China brand as long as is reliable & screen quality is good.

I bought mine at rm350 from a TRd owner.
It's the lowest spec with the worst sound insulation. It's that noisy.

Our Vios ass also naked when I did the insulation.. It's bare metal after the carpet...

u mean the black thing on boot? Vios have it in all line, boot tray too.

I got my J Spec from Balakong Branch, 3k rebate + free tinting + full tank + steering lock. Took about one and a half month for me, but will be arriving by this week if all is good 

Hey I'm new here in this thread. I was just wondering should I take E spec or G spec. I have put on a booking for E spec brown last saturday but at a second thought, should I just go for G spec? By the way, I also had a rebate of 5.5k.. sifus please help. My parents owned a vios G spec before this

I'm really torn apart. Alot of people have been telling me to get G. My own brother also ask me to get G. But I do not fancy the auto start button (can I know how reliable it is?) and the leather seat (very hot when exposed under sun). But I do like the 4 disc brakes and the better quality front windshield.

Just put on some quality tints and you will be fine.

I'm driving the trd but I don't feel any heat on my seats even when I park under the burning sun.
Anyways, anyone felt that the rear boot shakes like mad when you open?

I'm wondering if it's because of me blasting my woofers too much till it became loosen or something but even when I'm not blasting and just opening the boot, it shakes alot.

Just booked G spec Silver Metallic last Wednesday. After further negotiation I managed to get rm5200 on the rebate + free tinted + rm300 worth of tinted voucher ( in case I want to upgrade. Or can be use for other cars.) + small extra bits ( tyre pressure gauge + boot organizer.) Will be getting by end of Aug.
