Hi, FYI, i just got back from tokyo just last week and was able to see a couple of trees blossom. However when i got to Ueno park i was able to see all the small petals which has not bloom yet.

Is Japanese tea ceremony worth experiencing? I checked they are about 1000 yen or more. Still havent make up my mind yet.

Went to high school in Japan, had to enter tea ceremony club because others are full.. but totally worth it thumbup.gif just sharing experience, lol

This is toyosu or in Odaiba? I stay near to Toyosu and did not see this at all. If its really in Toyosu, then I can go over there as weather now is quite nice.

hey guys need abit help on train passes here

i will b going to japan on apr 13 for 2 weeks. i hv already planned out my itinerary and will b going to places like Tokyo central, Harajuku, Odaiba, Ueno, Akihabara, Shinjuku, Tsukishima, Asakusa, Kamakura, Shibuya, Ginza, Akasaka, Kawaguchiko (Mount Fuji) and Nikko...problem is there r so many train services i duno which train passes that I should get..some journey might use limited express..some might use shinkansen...some might use tokyo monorail..some might use JR East...some even use buses

i hope sifus can advise me in this matter..im looking for passes which can give me best bang for the buck or discounts...

wat bout JR pass? suica and pasmo dun hv any discounts rite?it is like using TnG here...would this b the same like buying individual ticket? if possible i wan to minimize my transportation fares by using the correct passes tat provide best-bang-for-the-buck...

You want to minimize cost but asking about JR pass? Looking at your destinations, JR pass is not needed.

Depend. Day pass are 1200Yen per day. Unless one day u hop on to train alot times. if not will rugi.

Example. Today my Plan is go Harajuku > Shinjuku > Ikeburuko. This 3 shopping district enough to walk all day. But i only take train 3 times only. less than 400Yen. If this day I buy Pass. That not best bang of buck anymore. U lost 800yen
