IMHO ... there's nothing much you can see or do at Tokyo Metropolitan Government Building observation deck but it's free. I much prefer Tokyo Skytree, but that is just my opinion. BTW the banana cake is highly overated if you ask me.

And spend more time in Ueno park. It's beautiful there and with the cherry blossom, I bet the view gonna be breathtaking.

I'm not sure if you gonna have time to go to Ginza after a trip to Hakone. It would be a tiring day for sure.

About Disneyland, what is your expectation? For me Disneyland is a bit of a let down. It's more toward kids than adult. I enjoyed more at Disneysea with the rides and attraction. Just some tips if you decide to go to Disneysea instead of Disneyland, go for the Tower of Terror fastpass first and then journey to the center of the earth fastpass. These 2 attraction have the longest waiting time and very popular.

Need some comment on my itinerary.

I've visited Sushi Dai twice. Both times start queue at around 6.15am. Summer 2011 - 1.5 hours queue. Spring (Sakura season) last year - 4.0 (!!) hours queue. No idea why the huge difference in queue times. When you turn up the lady will tell you roughly what's the expected wait; in my opinion anything more than 2 hours queue not worth the waste of time.
My visit last year, I went at 3.30pm and got a queue ticket for 5.30, not so bad ba (weekday). Also, agreed that tokyo banana is way overrated, I still prefer this snack over anything else:

Almost forgot about the sim card. I think I'll need that too since I don't think my digi sim card is compatible. Another extra charges for the sim card I guess?

this site is trusted - i used them nov last year and rented the higher end MiFi model. since i was arriving late, i had them send the unit to my hotel. package was handed to me as i checked in, and i used it continuously for a week before dropping it off at a postbox in the airport. bring a portable charger if you want to use unit whole day also - MiFi comes with sim card inside, so you can use it immediately.

I took pururu... Using it now but the problem is once u exceeded the quota it drops to 0.2mbps... Yes it is unlimited but with such speed is crazy....

I prefer Tokyo Banana than Hiyoko.

i was wondering what kind of "local" stuff (preferably budget ones) that can only be found in Osaka / Tokyo to bring back as souvenirs

most stuff i found (info on the internet) are either quite useless or quite expensive

So just a question? Who is traveling next?
