after some research on japan.. really pening  rclxub.gif can't decide which is better..  plan to go 12 days (or lesser?) to japan but i'm not sure whether enough to cover those attractions or not

Tokyo + Osaka or Tokyo & it nearby surrounding only?

or should i focus on 1 place only and others on next trip?

i knew that the distance between Tokyo & Hokkaido is far apart but do anybody go to Tokyo + Hokkaido? money wise definitely not cheap  hmm.gif

12 days u can go Tokyo + Osaka or Tokyo + Hokkaido. Hokkaido can take local flight about >10,000 yen one way if buy early bird promo Skymark or AirDo.

For Hokkaido, summer can see Lavender. Winter can go ski or Sapporo winter festival but date not announced yet for late Jan/early Feb 2015. If u go end March, u can have chance to ski and see sakura in tokyo

read that autumn seems like not a good choice to visit Hokkaido if i plan to do some skii activities?

if go around end of Mar to beginning of Apr thought of kill 2 birds with 1 stone example like see Sakura in Tokyo and Snow (skii activities) in Sapporo/Otaru.. possible?

so mid to late Nov visit Osaka + Kyoto (eg Tofukuji) can view koyo right?
*
I am banking on it. Going to Kyoto end of Nov and hopefully there will be not much changes from 2013 autumn report.

i tot sakura oni blooms for 1 weeks tongue.gif

anyway for those want to view cherry blossom, this is the tips
mean if u arrive early/before sakura season... u need to travel to south of japan
if u r late... go north!!!

CODE
from wikipedia ~ http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cherry_blossom
Every year the Japanese Meteorological Agency and the public track the sakura zensen (cherry blossom front) as it moves northward up the archipelago with the approach of warmer weather via nightly forecasts following the weather segment of news programs. The blossoming begins in Okinawa in January and typically reaches Kyoto and Tokyo at the end of March or the beginning of April. It proceeds into areas at the higher altitudes and northward, arriving in Hokkaidō a few weeks later.

Taiwan Sakura tree as much as Japan. But Taiwan sakura tree are not in City or park like Japan.
Taiwan was inside forest. Need mountain trekking or riding joy train to enjoy the view.

For me, 10 times much better than Japan sakura in city.
