I wanna get to Sapporo.

Would you recommend going from HND to sapporo using Air Do or Jetstar?

I heard that flying is really the cheapest option because the train is just about the same price as the flight and takes longer.

Bro RegentCid, do you mind if I ask you a little help in reserving tickets for Fujiko Museum?

I tried to reserve online, registered here and there, and in the end they need a Lawson card which they only deliver to Japan address.
*
90% of Japan reservation ticket are not delivery to oversea. Best way is you 1 week before you visit that placed then only make reservation. Sent those reservation ticket to your hotel address.
inform the hotel by E-mail told them you will put a reservation on them first. And pick up ticket when you check in.
You have to register a account on lawson....buy the ticket through lawson.com and sent those ticket to your hotel.

Another way was when you reach Japan. Ask the Japan stuff at Lobby do the reservation for you.

I'm planning to Tokyo on this May and will stay at hotel nearby Ayase station (Chiyoda Line).

Due to I'm reaching on 10.30PM flight, I'm afraid might not able to catch the train on time.

Anyone know if I'm able to take Airport Limousine Bus or any other buses and which is the nearest station shall I drop off?

I'm thinking of taxi, but was thinking of the cost. Anyone know the current approximately cost from

Haneda Airport to Ayase station? Maybe 8000-10000 yen? sweat.gif

May I know which is the most suitable pass if I'm travelling in Tokyo (Shinjuku, Harujuku, Akihabara, Shibuya, Ginza, Ueno, etc) for 5 - 7 days?
I was told to buy this:
http://www.japan-rail-pass.com/jr-pass

But that pass looks like its for nationwide when I'll only be in Tokyo.
The below looks more like the suitable one:
http://www.japan-rail-pass.com/pass-region...st/jr-east-pass

Anyone can confirm?

Jetstar doesn't fly from Haneda. It fly from Narita Airport.
Jetstar reputation at Japan are very suxk and very low value.

If you plan take off from Haneda Airport. You can Try Skymarks Airline or Air Do

Thanks. I checked and seems like its the Special One or Two Day Open Ticket (For Customers from Abroad) that looks like value for money.
http://www.tokyometro.jp/en/ticket/value/t...ndex.html#anc02

So if I'm going for six days, does that mean I buy 3 Special 2-Day Open Tickets to get the best deal?

There's also the Suica card but seems like I have to keep topping it up which is a hassle.

I will just go with pasmo or suica. Estimate rail cost using hyperdia and just pay the amount once when buying, and top up if needed. Can be used at 7-11 and many other shops too.

FYI, I don't think you can buy that much Special Open Tickets at that price. The special 2 days Open Price only eligible once per entry on foreign passport.

After 2 days, you will need to pay normal fare for daily ticket. Correct me if I am wrong.

Sounds like a good idea. One shot top up 6000yen and use for the next 6 days.

Is there any way I can buy the suica card and top up in advance so I can use it once I reach Tokyo? I mean if its possible then might as well get it settled earlier.

Not sure but I don't think it is necessary. The machines are pretty straight forward and are aplenty at stations.

I'm looking up tickets on skymark online, and I'm confused by the different fares for the same destination.

user posted image

The column titles refer to difference between my booking and travel date, is that correct?

Like, if I were to by tickets now for a trip that's 60 days away I should go for SKY bargain 60?

Bargain 60 mean you must fly on May 25. Which is 60 days from 22 Feb if you buy at 22 Feb.
plus if any flight cancel due to weather typoon. you won't get any refund.

Damn that's dirt cheap. Waiting for it to go down to that price for my November trip.

Tokyo Disney Sea Finale more videos in my blog :3

The nights grew darker and we made our way to our final stop of the day, Big Band Beat, before joining in the whole Disney Sea crowd for the Fantasmic! show at the Mediterranean Harbour.

The Big Band Beat show was on a first come first served basis until all the seats are filled up. When we arrived at the place there was already a huge queue waiting to go in the auditorium. Fortunately for us there were still seats left and we were able to get in after a 20 minute wait.

The live band show has several time slots across the day and I highly recommend it! The jazz themed performances were top class and original, unlike the Monster Rock Show in Universal Studios Singapore. Thankfully the show was conducted in English and we could understand the whole thing.

My final moments were spent in the souvenir shop doing some last minute shopping. I went YOLO mode and bought a really pink Minnie Mouse T-Shirt for ¥1900. It's actually quite cheap for the Japanese if you don't convert. Everybody was mostly wearing the official T-shirts in the park. The train ride back from Mahama station was rather packed as most of the visitors are leaving at the same time. Good bye Disney Sea, I will definitely be back!!

Thanks. Still good enough. Will use suica card for the rest of the trip then.

I also just found out that you can have your own personalized suica card with your name on it but you also have to provide a phone number. Do I have to have a phone number from Japan or can I just randomly key in any number?
