QUOTE(electron @ Mar 20 2014, 03:52 PM) i do that in Malaysia too, until sometimes kena horn and even once, the car just overtake me, almost running down the pedestrian only in (most) 3rd world countries we can see this kind of behavior, sometimes it's not us that don't wanna be polite, it's just that the situation made us drive like mad ppl (you should see how ppl drive and ride in Jakarta, everybody thinks their indestructible, pedestrians crossing the road don't even look for traffic). every developed country i've been in they really respect pedestrians, every time cross road with or without zebra crossing, all the vehicles will stop for you. it's the driver's education and mentality that is really important. when i came back from Taiwan last time I started driving like them (unconsciously), after some furious horns from the cars behind I adopted back Malaysia driving style

Im thinking of just staying in airport and take the first train out to shinjuku or other places.. but then if enough time, it might just be better to book a hotel..

You have to tell them when is your start date, it will be printed in the pass. If you only use it from 29 Apr ... just tell them 29 Apr-1 May. Hi all experts. Pls help
Day 1 (April 10) - Chidorigafuchi - Ueno Park - Sensoji Temple - Shibuya - Shinjuku
Day 2 (April11) - Mt. Fuji with Hakone Freepass
Day 3 (April 12) - Tsukiji Fish Market - Akihabara - Ameyo - Ginza
I have 3 full day and above is my itinerary. I will be staying at friend's place at Mutsumi, Chiba Prefecture and will do the daily travelling to the above attractions. I plan to use the one day metro pass on 2 days travelling in Tokyo. 710 yen per day. I understand that the pass does not cover Mutsumi. Therefore can I take the train from Mutsumi Station (separate ticket) to Nishi-Funabashi first before continuing the journey to Tokyo Station to get the pass? For day 2 Hakone trip, I would like to take the Odakyu Romancecar at 07:28 train at Shinjuku and I've checked with Hyperdia that I can take the 06:07 from Mutsumi-FUNABASHI-KINSHICHO-SHINJUKU(JR) to arrive at 07:13. Do I have enough time to transfer at Shinjuku for Odakyu Romancecar? Are Shinjuku(JR) and Odakyu Hakone in the same station? Is it easy to tranfer train at Funabashi and Kinshicho? Is it an easy walk from Moto Hakone-Ko to Hakone Machi-Ko?
Thanks
