There arent that many reviews from Malaysians because the car is quite new. If you check online reviews from other countries, you will see that you won't go wrong with this car. Rebates pretty good now but 103k is quite fishy lo

The bumper bit different with current one, this model can fix nice DRL fog lamp with yellow signal light.
When this facelift model going to release to market?

Hi everyone, im new here and got my new car a week ago.

I've read post most people talk about swaying issues which i also worry me when i got my car recently until last week i drove 130 along old LCCT highway i didn't notice the sway, it just bounce on the bumpy surface even over the speed hump.
meanwhile im less worring about this any more.

Hi I know this is Elantra section but I am unable to find veloster section or just hyundai section. So I hope you guys don't min me asking the question here. Does anyone know if Hyundai Veloster fuel consumption good and if Hyundai cars is good enough to last many years. As there are people that says Hyundai cars cannot last 5 years, hyundai car parts are robbery (expensive), it take ages for parts to arrive. Will I still face this issue if I were to buy Veloster.

Planning to get a second hand veloster, any ideas guys. Any help would be appreciated. TQ.

Last weekend I went to have the chambers adjusted. So far the "sway" is minimized, not completely gone but it's better. Also the mechanic discovered my wheel was slightly mis-align.

Will test it out this weekend when I balik kampung

Drove today to Nilai i didn't feel the sway, so far so good the only issue found is driving in highway car move slightly to the left, also feel that Eco mode is very unpleansant to drive often working on gear shift in short interval than usual in off mode when car is moving slowly in a traffic jam.

Not smooth only when gear shift from 3rd to 2nd while slowing down. Other shifts ok.

Finally got my car back after 2mth+ in the bodyshop. Anyway, just wanna ask everyone, if you heard a "click" sound every time you fully press and release your foot brake. Sound comes from near the transmission gear lever.

Both....whilst driving and motionless. Sounds like something locking mechanism engaging and disengaging.

is it normal that our front passenger car door can be easily open from d lever inside?means even u lock the click..pull the lever,automatic d door click follow the lever u pull? I dont think its safety?

Never hear such thing, service two weeks ago. Same 6 months for fully synthetic. 6 months is really long time for a service interval. Even if I do not drive your car much, I'll still send it in every 6 month. Better clarify with Hyundai Malaysia. Else you risk void your whole car warranty for overdue service.

Yes this is the common issue with most new cars. Even Audi. Mainly they use a new but thinner padding / insulation for the roof. It has better heat proofing and general non-direct noise (turbulence, echo, wind, tunnel noise) but sound proofing suffers under direct impact (rain drops).

I used to put a thick padding foam in my old City and that really silenced the rain drops. But too lazy to open up my Elantra.

Receive a quotation from tokio marine... My car is 1.6 standard bought on december 2013... So its 1 year and they quote me market value is 65k... Seriously? 1 year car left 65k?

Still waiting quotation from other insurance co... Hope to continue with hyundai panel but the sum assured shocked me...
