QUOTE(Dickong @ Feb 5 2015, 09:58 PM) The air filter shouldnt be a problem, i send mine for sv on 29/1/15 with knm filter n the supervisor say it ok. So no big deal. I think it depends on SC to decide... They're okay for me to change the player but not the rims and air filters.. they say it MAY void warranty.. |

QUOTE(yybryan @ Feb 13 2015, 04:31 PM) My brake also same especially before 10000km, SC do brake service after complaint, now feel bit better, but sometime still not really makan in high speed and the brake also noisy. But when bring to SC, they said nothing. my sway problem still not solve after add the chamber kit. Some EMC member change the absorber, some add ARB, some change to bigger RIM, but some of them solve the sway but some not. QUOTE(Dickong @ Feb 13 2015, 07:56 PM) To solve the swaying problem, change adjustable absorber will definitely solve it bcos i change it about 45days ago n now enjoying my ride. The SC near Segambut tried chamber kit with my Elantra but failed, then change absorbers n still not helping.. but recently, they do something so change custer alignment, nw much better n the sway/fish tail is less obvious already.. They also solved the rattling noise from bodykit.. I pretty enjoying the car now!.. |

QUOTE(yybryan @ Feb 14 2015, 11:19 AM) Then I have to ask the SC to check the alignment again for the sway improvement in next service. If custer adjustment, the sc measured the newcar with no issue.. then use same measurement on my car.. same to mine, but i bet they do some thg during the 2nd time, no more loose or noise after that.. done by sc instead bodykit vendor. For the rattling sound from side bodykit, mine still on and off as the side skirting screw keep loosing even mine had re-fixed by Hyundai bodykit vendor, I still have to retighten the screw from time to time, last week, one of the screw fly away, gone, now short of one screw now for right side skirting, if run > 110km, noise come. Haiz.... |

having difficulties when try to start my Elantra recently (first press mostly failed to start engine) and based on my tele-conversation with the SC, he mentioned that those symptoms mean is time to change for a new car battery..
Just wanted to know if we change it ourself outside to other model, will this void our warranty, and if you got any good recommendations for the car battery? |

QUOTE(666devil @ Aug 8 2015, 08:12 AM) If ur battery is already 2 yrs, quickly change it. Mine died exactly 2yr 1 month. Using century brand. According to SC, if still cn start car or open door.. definitely not due to ECU.. i changed mine to yohohama gold, cost me RM220+ but still far cheaper than SC.. SC is using century marathoner if not mistaken which shops outside ahould be selling around 250-300.Can't start 1 st time due to battery? Bs sc. Mine have that prob since day 1. Update Ecu program is the correct solution. At least for my issue. Edit: after the change, so far no issue with switch on the engine.. This post has been edited by Ekash: Aug 8 2015, 01:19 PM |

QUOTE(syuxuan31900 @ Apr 11 2017, 10:12 PM) Hello, i got different feedback from different SC.. so ask the SC you visited alw...I wonder if anyone here changed their headlight to HID or LED. If HID, does that mean voiding the warranty? If LED, how do you deal with the dust cap? The heatsink of LED won't fit with the cap. I have a 2015 Elantra with projector headlamp, HB3 halogen low beam. I have been looking into this for the past few months, please help me... Thanks! |
