1. Call or email the officer in-charge to reschedule the appointment.

2. Please come out with a valid reason for that. Otherwise, get ready for penalty.

Can i ask how much will the penalty be? A rough estimation? ohmy.gif

Please refer to your policy annual statement to determine how much you can claim for the relief for these two clauses.

Hi David83,

I've just received the statement from my insurance company. Based on the image you previously posted, should I be entering the Total (You highlighted in black) into the "Insurans pendidikan dan perubatan" E-filing field?

My previous question was about the possibility of claiming my personal insurance under "Insurans pendidikan dan perubatan".

Would be great if you could advice.

Thanks in advance.

You need to study your annual statement properly to determine how your premium is being allotted:

100% Life
100% Medical
60% Medical & 40% Life
100% Education

Add it up to be an annual sum between January 2014 to December 2014 I guess and apply a flat rate of 26%.

Sorry, I have no idea on this since I have no experience nor an accountant.

If you are earning a huge amount and YET do you know how this can be calculated, I am sorry to say it's not as huge as we think. The tax payable for your huge earning based on guesstimates can be calculated through TotalEarning*0.2 = total estimated payable tax.

David's just trying to help you.

Your deduction at the new company is for 2014 or 2015?

Combine both EA forms from both old and new companies for YA2014 filing.

If you don't have No. Rujukan Cukai, you need to go to LHDN branch to register yourself since your company HR didn't help to create you.

Not subjected to income tax and filing are totally two separate matters.

EA form will guide you to fill in your e-filing.

Deduction at new company for Year 2014 but inside EA Form for new company only show RM85. While my old company doesn't have this issue.
Damn, I calculated and roughly filled the e-BE, that's make me need to pay another 3k. Shit!

If that's the case, you should go to clarify and rectify with your company HR.
