Is it recommended to take arex commuter train fr incheon to seoul station? Staying in insadong. Only take trolley bag 22 inch

it depends on where you staying. sometimes bus arrive nearby your guesthouse/hotel so it's better to take bus instead cause if you take subway, many stairs.. n walk a distance to exchange to another line.. tongue.gif

Book the kr pass in their website. Print the ticket out and show to korail information counter in front lotteria at seoul station. Get ur kr pass. Then go counter show ur pass n book the ticket u wanted. Seoul to busan every 15 minute got train. So u no need to worry for long wait.

i Use kr pass... cost around 90k won... my friend buy teturn ticket. Cost him atound 100k won

Anyone stayed in Dongdaemun area before? Is the environment ok at night? As in not too noisy or any other potential problems.

Turns out my mom would be following me to Korea for a few days, so I'm planning on splitting the accommodation between Insadong and Dongdaemun area. Just for a different feel. Insadong for the more downtown laid back, and Dongdaemun for the late shopping.

Haven't decided for my solo accommodations yet o.o

There is a group discount for kr pass. Much more cheaper. U should buy that if u go by group.but for 1 way i not so sure for that

U should refer to korail website if not mistaken in pg 30 of this thread.

I'm interested in going to DMZ and JSA area of Seoul, Korea.

There's a lot of operators going into DMZ/JSA.
By experience, can anyone recommend a reliable operator for DMZ/JSA?

Really need help.. nod.gif

I just came back from busan..
Just a kind update to those going soon.
Its better to get a Subway day pass 4500 won so u can travel unlimited to many stations coz one way is oredi 1200.. Unless u only plan to travel two times then get the single ticket.

As for city tour bus in busan its 15000.

All the major attractions are easily reached by bus n subway n most doesnt have entrance fee which is good..

Anyway meal isnt as expensive as i tot..u can easily get a meal at 4000 won -8000 won. Comes with lotsa side dishes which is enuf to fill u up. Street food at 500won -2000 won each..

Jagalchi fish market meals.. about 30000 won and above.. unless u order ala carte..but very fresh seafood..

err.. in korea be prepared to walk alot. 10-15 mins walking distance is like nothing for koreans. if u can't walk that far, you might need to to double think whether you need to have free & easy trip or not. as alot of attractions in korea need to have alot of walking.. not to say some road is hilly as well whistling.gif
