anyone know the weather forecast website for seoul and busan?

You can always use google for that. Just type "weather <city>". If you want to be more accurate (and are able to read Hangeul), go to Naver Weather. nod.gif

Hi guys, for autumn/winter wear, the price in Korea is cheaper/not much difference/ more expensive than Malaysia?

Reason for asking is I decided to not buy any additional sweaters/jackets since it's only fall. Will layer instead. But just in case it gets really cold I think I'll just buy something there.

Last time I bought a down jacket in Korea's Uniqlo, it was KRW 60,000 and during fall season. But that's like 2 years ago. I'm not sure about the price in Malaysia though. hmm.gif

I'm not sure either but sounds reasonable. Probably cheaper if I buy from street stores?

Might be, I'm not really sure. I never bought clothes from distros or street stores during my life in Korea. But then again, if you buy in chains like Uniqlo, at least you'll get the assurance of quality. hmm.gif

Hmm....As a lot of people go there for shopping purposes I'm a little surprised that the quality is so questionable. hmm.gif

Although wifi is available and there such as café, restaurant, even Sinchon street. Actually you need to buy something to get the password at many places. For me, I use the free wifi egg from the guesthouse. I used it everywhere I went (naver map to get to where I want to go). It will be worth it especially if you can’t find the place or need to google something suddenly or check in foursquare wink.gif And most of the Korean don’t speak English >< so it's better to have a wifi egg with you.

Alright. Will consider to rent one. smile.gif

Impromptu vacation to Seoul coming end of Sept. Rush to plan and study across the threads now.

Any good accommodation to recommend in shinchon/hongdae area? Going with gf.

Any places should not be missed around the area? Going 7d6n and not planning to go far from Seoul. Thanks.

Mr. Kim's Friends Guesthouse is quite cool. You can ask for a private room for you and your girl also. If my memory doesn't fail me, it's located on the other side of Hongdae's subway station (not the bustling part of Hongdae), but it's not far. hmm.gif

i guess depends on luck or you are calculative enough to get gain on exchange.
for me. i change RM3k to Won & 1K USD cash in hand to change in Korea if require. (i ignore gain/loss as its not material enough to impact my spending) smile.gif

just a suggestion :
KL - Busan - Jeju - Seoul.
unless you plan to try the bullet train, its fine smile.gif its good for first time experience but definitely not 2nd as the 3 hr trip Seoul to Busan is kinda time wasting for me.
and end of October already got snow and available for skiing?
try to climb Mount Hallasan while you got 4 Days there. its a good experience and satisfied trip to peak.

For Jeju, town area i'll recommend December Hotel which is quite cheap and the room is really nice.
For myself, i get my first 3 night at Memory In Jeju at Seongwipo city and 4th night at Hotel December to get to airport/return car easily on the next day. This is because I have visited West side of Jeju previously and East side for this year trip.

My booking fee for both place as below:
December Hotel - KRW 55k per night
Memory in jeju - Double Room - KRW 352800 for 3 Nights
Seoul - Suitcasers Hotel - MYR 918.03
