For changing RM to Won, is RM 3.22 expensive? I can't find any money changer that have rate of RM 3.1x now sad.gif(((
And using VISA credit card, exchange rate is RM 3.14 (added 1% bank foreign transaction fee charge)... better to use credit card... but can't use card everywhere, right?

Hello! I would like to book for KTX tickets from Seoul to Busan in October. However, I am not sure if the ticket used for KTX is the KR Pass. May I ask if anyone of you could share your experiences booking for KTX tickets in advance online? I am a International Youth Travel Card (IYTC), but I'm not sure if I am eligible for the Youth Pass price though.

Thank you! smile.gif

By the way, have anyone tried to use a multi sockets on top of an adapter in Seoul? Heard from the shop assistant in electronic shop that it might burn or something.. but I need to charge a lot things (laptop, camera, power banks, phones) at night at one time.

Thank you! smile.gif

I have used multi socket plugs + adapter before in Korea and it seemed OK. I charged phone, camera battery, WiFi egg etc. Bring a decent enough one should be fine I guess....

it is safe to use multi sockets plug to power up multiple low Amp device like phones & powerbank.. just dont share it with refrigerator or iron.. most important, get a quality one with fuse or circuit protection..

I'm using Maybank VISA card. Called to their customer service, the person said that it will follows VISA Exchange Rates. And I calculated using their website:
http://usa.visa.com/personal/card-benefits...-calculator.jsp

It is official website for VISA so I think it is legit (?)
Today is RM3.13 (including 1% bank foreign transaction fee)

Where did you find out RM 3.20?

I also planning to advance book KTX KR Pass online, after did some research and go throught their website seems like you can only book 1 month in advance, so if you plan to get for october, September only able to make the booking online.
