Come across this model Livinox Salix hob that comes with the timer to auto shutdown the gas supply. I think it's quite good for boiling soup etc. as can set it to the time needed for auto shutoff. nd the price at around RM700 is quite ok also.

https://livinox.my/product/lgh-salix-2bt-bl/

May I know if anyone has any experience in this model? Or any other alternatives at this price range?

Thanks

Fotile EMS9021r (1080m³/h, Best filtration but suction power low)

DE&E HA939 (2250m³/h , low noise with DC motor but price higher)

LIVINOX COPPERDC (1750m³/h, DC motor too but filter harder to change)

senz is comparable to livinox (both also OEM brand)

rinnai memang not popular for hood only for their gas hob

robam never c their recycle before cant comment much

u can go exhibition c all the brands, then shortlist which brand and model u interested with then from there only compare, bcoz if goin brands too many models to compare

Looking around for the strongest suction power hood? Here is one advance and super strong kitchen hood upto 2850m3/h. Very trendy & modern design, ultra strong suction power and advance system by DE&E, model : HTQ98. I think this will b the strongest hood for year 2023, if u guys seen anything else stronger can share it here too smile.gif

Dear All,
I saw the installation manual for Fotile's latest induction cooker hob. It says requires 3 ventilation holes at the bottom part of cabinet.
How are these holes normally done? Most kitchen cabinets are fully enclosed.

if no other appliances under the hob then no nd, do not do drawers under the hob, then u should have sufficient space for ventilation. If u plan to use it for long hours then u can add louver on ur cabinet door for better ventilation

I see. I missed the "other appliances" part while reading the manual.

Thank you for the tips on how to overcome overheating. Much appreciated.

I think I'm set with either Rinnai or Milux stainless steel hob...the issue now is hood.

very confusing..any suggestion for 2-3k options? or you advice to spend more.

edit: cooking with wok. so need space..not sure can use the slanted design.

end lot unit, wet kitchen area with sliding door.

Dear all,
I intend to lay a new 4mm cable from DB for my induction hob.
As for hood, may I know whether it's suitable to tap power from this new cable since the 4mm wire capacity is bigger than what the hob requires (hob requires 3-5kW?) ? I keep reading "induction hob requires dedicated power supply".

The other alternative is to tap from existing twin-SSO, which I try to avoid because need to use oven, etc.

Recently I saw alot brand with this type pattern, 1 of them Vees n Senz, suction almost 2000m3. 50/50 to me, not so like the opened hole without cover. Haha. But still considering it. Were looking for any few unit to compare.
