Im looking for side cooking hood, budget below 3k any recommendations? Tested Senz model-SZ-CH338i at the home fair RM2.2k 5 years warranty, the noise are acceptable for me, just wanted to know any other better option?
I'm using the fotile hood. Noise level is fairly low. Maybe you can check this brand out too.

home fair noise and home noise not same. Home fair environment busy, noisy and open space, so noise will be lower
Due to space limitations, I only able to allocate smaller hood around 60cm wide, I'm currently looking at senz sz-ch1288rc, im wondering will be sufficient for light cooking? Anyone has experience in this brand PS, I do have the exhausted cap for ducting pipe..
Or, do you all have any alternative recommendations ? Thanks

hi, between rinnai rb-72g and FOTILE GHG78211 which one is better, thanks
fotile got 1) anti explosion glass 2) instant ignition (no need to wait) 3) super flame tech with efficiency over 60%, regular brands +- 50 - 55% 4) perfect burner diameter 4.3" not too big, many brands 5.5", too big burning pan n pot handle and high heat loss

thanks for the recommendation, can suggest me hood with budget around 1k? thanks
I need to replace my 10 yr old Electrloux gas hob because the flame is getting weaker. Wife request the one with stronger flame.. like 5.5KW. Shortlisting between this 2
1) Livinox LGH-288-2B-BL - +ve = cheaper, looked like efficient burner design -ve = Normal glass
2) Rinnai RB-92G +ve = Schott glass - = pricey
Well price is not an issue but value for money is. I kinda like the livinox efficient burner design but I also like Rinnai Schott glass. Any thoughts on this?

The Schott Ceran glass is ceramic glass or tempered glass as well? Ceramic glass has better heat resistance than tempered glass and less sensitive to heat change, hence less likely to break due to contraction an expansion like some tempered glass. And between a Japanese and local brand, I would definitely go for the established Japanese brand.
Dear sifus, my house is under strata act, so cannot do much. I have EMS9020, want to build a window at the yard (allowed by developer) and extend my ducting to the outside of the window. Refer plan below: [attachmentid=10803663] My plan is to make a hole on the fixed window (1ft fixed, 3ft can open), and stick the ducting to it. So every smoke or smell will be pushed outside. The thing is, my contractor said can, but after the silicon between the ducting and window glass gets hard (the weather etc), in the future each time i switch on the hood, there will be loud noise (friction between ducting and window glass). I cant build a concrete for the ducting since my house is under strata. Any suggestion?
My current setup is very similar to yours just that my ducting is quite long around 12feet. The kitchen part ducting covered in plaster board and at the yard my ducting is exposed. Due to miscommunication the hole on my window is slightly larger than the duct end cap. So the end cap can't fit. My case the duct is just sitting on the window glass without any silicone. Not much noise I would say just sometimes can hear it when birds standing on the tip of the duct

livinox mica hood as this hood can be ducted or add only charcoal filter to convert to recycle hob livinox lgh 388 3b, 3 burners and these 2 combo can get less than rm 3k, within budget
so i guess this is the best combo for your requirement

Thanks bro. 1. Are you selling this product? If yes, may i know the pricing? 2. How much for the charcoal filter? For first time, i think included, 2nd time might need change ourselves. How frequent we need to change? 3. Any intro for non-recycle hood?
