I bought vigico a few years ago, not frequently used. Suddenly can't on at all. Jump fuse. I called their office, a salesman at first spoke nicely and mentioned need to pay Rm85 if request technician services, and if replace the board need extra 800++. And he pushed me to trade in and replace the new model for RM1990.  My opinion is let the technician check first, at least know the problem. May be no need to change new board or trade in and I can save money. After I insist on technician services, he changed his voice tone.  Later one lady called in and mentioned the new board need 1000++. So, do I still need techinician inspection? If the technician stand their side, then no point he come because he may simply say the board  damage.

if u dont cook much buy a new livinox, if hole fit (need to check) a brand new livinox is only rm 1k+- depending model, half the price of trade in vigico

My fotile hood is using 7'' duct.
The renovation indon worker requested a white pvc pipe to be inserted in the drilled wall hole.
However, where to find the 7" pipe?
6" or 8" is easy to find..

7" can be found but not as common as 6". I managed to buy 1 7"-7" connector (grey) when i initially planned to expand my existing 6" to 7" duct hole for my Fotile hood. I think the hardware shop (at Permatang Pauh, Penang) charged me about RM20-RM30 for it.

actually many ways to make 7", just contractors don wan think.

1) modify 8" pipe as per photo shared by leeyung (another forumer - my fotile customer)

2) get a 5L paint can, measure to double confirm diameter is 7", wrap with newspaper. Cement into the wall, once cement dry, pull out

3) manual hack 7"

4) aluminium sheet roll it to be 7"

Hi. I have a gas cooker with 2 hobs with 2 burner rings each. The right side hob is working fine, but the left side is problem. When only the internal ring is used, I can see that the flame is smaller compared to the one on the right hob. When I have both rings working on the left hob, especially on medium, the flame always goes off suddenly with a popping explosive sound. I think the gas supply lines or rings are blocked.

Are there technicians whom I can call check/fix this? The brand is Zanussi, but already out of warranty period. I bought it long time ago, but only now moved in to use.

I recently purchased a Fotile JQG 9009T to do an unboxing and installation video for my DIY YouTube channel.

This was the first time I am buying a China branded and made appliance as all my previous purchases have been either Bosch or Teka.

I was recommended by Fotile to check out a shop in Kepong named Builders Hardware Enterprise as I was told they have a unit that is connected to a duct and could be switched on for testing purposes.

I have access to 30 different homes with various types of kitchen hoods from cheap ones to expensive ones, this one is definitely an impressive one as the suction power does make a big difference but the biggest difference over the other powerful models by the same manufacturer is the quietness of it. The condo that would get this first unit now uses a Teka 60cm telescopic one that is rated at 440m3/h, this Fotile one makes less noise and does a significantly better job.
