Pay cash means bank notes or online banking. When we pay credit card, the seller will incur charges from the banks and they want to avoid that.

Ah OK. Thought so too. Understood. Online option better. If bring bank notes around worried get snatched. My phone already got snatched a few weeks ago. Better be safe. Thanks ya.

Anyway, I surveyed Fotile JQG9009T and gas hob (2 burners) GHG78211 package a few Fotile authorised dealers' outlets recently. The official published price appears to be RM5,288. I got three different quotes at RM4,499, RM3,966 and RM4,230. All quoted prices include chimney, duct hose and duct cap. But there are a few other considerations for me including other packages from the shops so am still considering.

or if budget not an issue
2) jqg9009t + gag86309

all fotile hoods memang ez to maintain, no matter what hood, what brand u purchased after 4 - 5 years sure got oil inside the  hood, wanna hire technician clean or not is upto you. Fotile fan blades are non-stick coated, thought interior of the hood is oily, fan blade still performs well.

all the so called auto clean hoods in the market wont work like what u expect them to. i do sell as well, tested, doesnt work. so if a seller tries to convince u that auto clean will keep it super clean, ask them black and white write on the invoice, if got oil inside hood after auto clean, full refund smile.gif they wont dare to sell u

i also seen some salesman perform self cleaning of the hood, saying it is very ez to dismantle. They actually removed 10 - 16 screws already, that is why it looks simple. many tricks in this market so nd to research properly smile.gif

my home > 10 years hob is failing, planning to change to new one

it's a concrete top, so which part do I need to measure to plan for a new one?
surface length? or the hole size? is depth also important?

I guess just take the measurement of your old hob. Everything. Hole size is very important but if cannot fit, it can be widened which is more troublesome.
