Oh my..my Z1's back already scratch like hell. Lucy I use sp since day 1 for front and back. Does anyone know where can find tempered glass sp that covers both front and back? been looking for ages.

So, my question now what casing do you guys use? Care to share?
*
....
if you're already using SP front and back, then technically its just your low quality protectors that is scratched and not your actual phone.

I'm going to be using this. Still en route. Supports dock and magnetic charging

get a Bluetooth mouse for more fun.
only on the magnet strength. 2nd gen you can hang the phone, won't drop even if shake.
Should be Ori. As I know, directd will register the warranty for their customer.
*
I bought from directd as well, I was given a warranty card to fill in and sign. Then they took it back for processing.

1. What is Z1 6903 LTE means?
1a. Is it the model code for LTE model, and it means 4G?
1b. If is 4G, how should I check when I purchasing it?

2. What is this "Yellow Screen" problem things?
2a. How should I avoid this "Yellow Screen" problem or how do I reduce the risk of taking these models?
2b. Is it just need to avoid the batch code as below?

Hope someone can help me on this...  Bought a Z1 LTE unit last month at DirectD. The box is sealed with Dynamics sticker but there is no warranty card inside. Am i having an ori unit or AP unit ? :'(

Thanks...

Contact/check with them now before your phone has any issues, want to claim then susah when if it isn't. Check now.

You don't check, you'll regret in future if want to do warranty claim, and phone is not registered.

1. c6903 is the model number for LTE set. usually all malaysia ori set is this model. if u r buying AP or from other country, then u may encounter c6902, which is 3G only model. So, just make sure the model number is c6903 when purchasing (written on the box and in the phone under settings->about phone)

2. yellow can only be seen when comparing side by side. the serial number is only a guideline. some other forumers reported otherwise and contradict with this guide. Best is see and compare it with your own eyes.

3. box should include the standard stuff... phone, power adapter, usb cable, earphone, and maybe charging dock (depending on which batch)

4. this i am not sure. so far never see any fake z1... fake samsung alot la

1. What is Z1 6903 LTE means?
1a. Is it the model code for LTE model, and it means 4G? YES
1b. If is 4G, how should I check when I purchasing it? Check the box for phone model, check about phone for model number, check network mode that has LTE/WCDMA/GSM

2. What is this "Yellow Screen" problem things? The screen look warmer but hardly to notice unless u do comparison with another device
2a. How should I avoid this "Yellow Screen" problem or how do I reduce the risk of taking these models? Compare it with ur other phone that dun have warm screen. but don't think u able to replace it new set once they open box for u.
2b. Is it just need to avoid the batch code as below? Not sure but heard newer batch is better.
3. What do I need to check inside the box items contains? If your box are big, it will come with charging dock, charger, USB and headphone. Smaller box mean not charging dock.

4. What should I check on the phone to make sure it is Genuine or fake china mimic Z1? After success setup the phone, Click Phone and dial this number *#*#7378423#*#* translate as *#*#service#*#* for accessing Service Menu where you can test out your display, LED, Speaker, Camera and etc at Service tests. Go to Service Info - Configuration for checkout whether your unit is real LTE version if you had purchase C6903 or C6902 model where LTE will appear at Working band/s list.

I'd recommend directd. =p He's here in Lowyat and also in Lelong. But I went directly to their shop to buy, it's in SJ SS15. Opens 7 days a week

Can't remember who served me, there's actually a lot of staff there. I was surprised that there's already 5+ customers at 11am Sunday. Had to wait a while before someone attended me. I got a friendly guy, let me touch touch see see first =)

Just get original..

1 and 1A : Z1 C6903 = 4G LTE, if 3G will be C6902
1B : above, model number. Further clarification, Settings > About phone > Model

2. I thought my device have had this issue, turns out it wasn't that bad. So I ignored.

3.
-phone
-charger
-dock charger but not all sets come with dock now
-usb cable
-wall charger
-warranty card [this card YOU are the one to keep, not the shop as the rest of the members hve mentioned the shop has taken/kept it.]

4. if the warranty card has DYNAMIC/THORUS/MIDLAND distribution sticker, chances are it's original. And also, for furhter clarification, Press POWER + VOLUME UP to screen shot, check screenshotted photo if it's smaller than 1920x1080 or 1080x1920

ahhhhh... headache headache headache... called dynamics distributor... they said their work is just to distribute phones.. regarding sony warranty card, packaging and etc are all done by the dealer which is DirectD..

Called DirectD... they said just bring the proof of purchase, should be ok.. nothing to worry.. all my customers claim warranty like that..

I went to sony centre, they mention should have warranty card inside the box..

Im confused, please suggest me what do guys... The only testing left for my Z1 is the underwater test.. other than that, phone is ok... It gets overheat while using camera app and some heavy gaming... really really hot.. you guys facing this overheating issue while using camera ?

DAMN IT LA... why i didnt get the SONY WARRANTY CARD!!! mad.gif
