ohh... sounds serious... looks like there isn't any safer/easier way to root 4.3 yet.

afaik, only 1 case can fit directly without modification. abit too exp for my liking.. maybe not yet.. since i just bombed myself a z1 and a new samseng for my dad.

my casing gemuk la. adoi. thinking how now. keep opening the charging port, worry it will loosen and it will affect the water proof function in the near future.

i saw a casemate back casing in sony center at the curve. it is also very slim and i think it might also fit the dock without much modification. u can go and test it.

Actually does unlock bootloader makes it easier to root?

i'm using charging dock but i bought a flip case a few days ago..then i was like damn troublesome everytime have to take it out to charge with dock. until i realize better to take out the magnetic cable that i used with my powerbank and charge it while in the case.

now my dock is back in the box until the day i dare to use the phone naked. attempted for a week but prefers protection in the end

I think rooting is easier than unlocking you bootloader

its not hard at all to unlock bootloader.. in fact if u follow the official way, its just a plug of ur phone to ur pc and a few clicks only lol

4.3 can unlock bootloader without losing the camera function. for everything new is always the first step. besides it is a pain in the ass to read the steps by steps guide as well.

maybe a gathering so we can start a rooting/unlock bootloader clinic to help the newbies but of course for begineers only show the safest methods...

I can teach using Flashtool method cos CMD method will, again, mindfark newbies

cos it involves cd cd cd cd then dir dir then fastboot.exe flash boot X.img

i plan to reformat it with 4.4

basically i dont think unlock bootloader will fail as long as what's necessary is there lol..

i saw kingo has comes out with a bootloader unlocker too.. also one click lol

the pain in ass is all data will be wiped but no issue to those who hv rooted..

i unlocked my htc one x due to the unhackable tegra chipset
better stay away from tegra lol
