For those who didn't root their Z1, we can still transfer apps to SD by dl-ing the app thru apk downloader, and then paste it in SD card folder right?

Since if we dl the apps from phone, it'll automatically be stored in the internal memory.

afaik, there are none. but you if you really want the experience of having one, do this:

1. get a flip or bookcase casing
2. download this app called wave2wake
3. now everytime you flip open the cover, your phone will automatically awake

Couldn't agree more. One of the best phones I've used

After using the z1 for almost 2 months now, here's my verdict:

From the camera to the battery, to the gaming performance and snappiness. Everything is amazing. Many complained about the thick bezel, oddly-placed buttons, even the viewing angles. But imo, those complains are insignificant. Well-known problems in lemon units like the yellow hue was never present in mine.

The only slight downside is, it gets a little bit hot after a few round of games and browsing (but which phone doesn't?), and the price.

My rating: 9.5/10
