Paste to small apps notes 1st and recopy... that what I do when copy from chrome.

how come some other Z1 can diret copy in but some cannot and have to do it like what you siad????

I found the way already, when highlight a number in chrome, don't choose copy but choose share (<) then choose copy to clipboard. Now can paste to phone box directly.

cool, it's works and better than copy to note first and copy again to dialer..
hope the next update will solve this tiny problem. Iphone can direct call from the number highlighted in browser, hope we can do that in Andriod as well cause it's really usefull to some people like me.

Actually direct call work in Z1. I went to maxis website and touch the Maxis Customer Care number 1-800-82-1123, the number paste directly to the dialer.

Same thing happen when I touch the number for Celcom website, test on 1300 111 000 and +603 36308888 (this number even show the phonebook entry). But not for number 1111.

Doesn't work on Umobile website, Hotline +6018 388 1318.

Work at full website for Maybank2u and Cimbclicks.

For a working number, no need to highlight, just touch.

Not sure whats wrong with ur phone but there's no problem on mine
Whether the number can be click-to-call, it's depends on how the code being written and also how the browser behave..

i tried the same website as yours and copied the number but cannot paste into the dialer. That's my problem so far...

On maybank2u website, no need to highlight, I just need to touch the number, it will pasted to dialer.

Can you try the number at the bottom of umobile website, 'Hotline +6018 388 1318'

For those who have issue when receive a call the phone auto ON the speaker mode, try to disable Social Life apps.

There is an new update for Sociallife. After update mine, the issue gone.

I thought im alone in this. Guess not.

i think the main issue now is he unable to paste to dialer, not how he copy it..


Try go to Setting > Apps > All > Phone, clear the data and try again..

yes, the problem is unable to paste it. And it still the same after i cleared the data....

Those who have dialler paste issue can install a 3rd party dialer instead.

ExDialer can paste numbers in to the dialer straight
