did any of you notice, there's another symbol pop up on screen to show the stability of the phone?
it shows a tripod....useful to know if you have a very stable hand/actually using a tripod

but i dont think it would appear in Manual mode...had tried putting it on table using Auto mode and it did appear

Just double tapped on the screen. That should bring it to 100% zoom, wouldn't it?

Just curious, do you guys notice any improvement on the camera on 4.3? I don't have z1 but just asking.

Just bought z1 yesterday at lowyat plaza. Seller claim he gv me ori set rm2k.. But when  I reach home I noticed there's a company sticker stick at the side phone. (like ap sticker)
Tried Google around to search different z1 ori vs ap but found nothing.

Have anybody here care to share what's inside the box for ori set? Mine (will upload later) 1black charger, 1white earphone, and 2 folded pamplets. My box also dont have any hologram sticker

I've asked the seller bout the waranty card but he said nowadays sony didn't include it in the box. Just register online. Is it true?

Hi all, my first message here, I hope you can help me:

I'm a noob with Android and mobiles in general, but I bought and Xperia Z1 1 week ago, and I decided to update to 4.3 Android.

After that, the quality of the pictures has dropped drastically suddenly, a lot of noise in the pictures, not like in 4.2.2 Android. 

I will copy some data:

Android version: 4.3
14.2.A.0.290
C6903 (xperia version)

All updated as it seems, but only problems with my camera and the pictures, as I said, a lot of noise after the update.

I have tried Manual Mode, Automatic Mode, all... usually the noise appears in black zones, inside pictures, at night...

I don't know what to do, and I don't know how to downgrade to 4.2.2.

Hi, 4 all of you who asked about pictures of my camera before & after Android 4.3.

Android 4.2.2:
1st sample - Android 4.2.2
2nd sample - Android 4.2.2

Android 4.3
1st sample - Android 4.3
2nd sample - Android 4.3

Same settings: 20.7 MPX, Manual, similar lights, similar place.

With Android 4.2.2 there isn't noise in dark zones and even normal zones, with Android 4.3 completely noisy.

I have to add that I didn't update modifying nothing in the mobil phone, just updated with the SONY message in my mobile.

****About someone who said about my problem is the first one that he read, I have searched info on Internet and I have found at least 3-4 comments with the same problem, but only short comments in blogs or similar.

****Indeed, I already restart phone from factory settings and keep the same problem. My father-in-law who already have the same phone, did NOT update to Android 4.3 and the photos are perfect, doesn't matter if you make photos with daylight, at night, inside, outside... but with my updated phone... 

Man, as I told you, it doesnt matter how you put the ISO or the settings, all the pictures more noisy than before 

I'm not crying without reason, my girlfriend has studied photography and she teached me. We are making same pictures with the same mobile, one with 4.2.2 and another with 4.3, and the results are so different.

I will try to upload more examples tomorrow. 

mm I am not sure since I went once only :/ I only recall it is very near the Country Homes
too bad I don't have previous 4.2 photos to do comparison. I did push to ISO 1600 once and shoot at low light during new year and using Android 4.3 already.


Or I suspect he adjusted the exposure comp before. The photos seem brighter and doest expose properly.
