my concern also... if we update to 290 and lose root, there's no way we can flash 534, root and OTA back to 257 anymore now since OTA for 290 is already available. then if we need root, we can only stay on fw 534.

sure about that? i tod OTA still need to update step by step one..

when in doubt.... just stay with .257 for the time being

until there is a full confirmation from xda on a proper root method



it seems sony kinda restrict modding with Z1.... other than the BL unlock fix
