honestly, i seldom see a guy use note series, 80% i saw is use by a gals. and so far none i saw take out the s-pen and use it with the phone... ha ha..

I agree with you, z ultra is too big to be use as phone. I actually expected sony to come out with 5.5 inch phone.

Both Samsung & Sony is schedule live event in coming 24/Feb (here 25/Feb).
Possible Samsung Galaxy S5 and Sony Xperia Z2 will be announcing.
The Z1 was only announced in September last year. It is highly unlikely they will replace their flagship a mere 7 months after announcement.
Rumors have been going around of a D6503 Sirius being tested. That concides with the model number of the current Xperia ZL. Which also coincidentally was launched roughly this time last year. A Z2 would probably have a model number of D6903, assuming they stick to current naming convention.
So in all likelihood, it will be the Xperia Z1L that is launched during that MWC event. Which I'm guessing will be roughly a Z1 with no water + dust proofing and plastic body. Some say it will also have a smaller bezel and bigger screen. Who knows, eh?

7 months to replace another flagship is nothing, Now flagship is for 1/2 year only, no longer a year.
If you not count on Z Ultra which announced on June, 2013 and release on July, 2013. Then the differences between Z and Z1 is only around 7 months time frame which is quite accurate on my previous statement nowadays phone is for 1/2 year only and no surprise to see Sony announcing new flagship in end of February.

It happen a lot cases before.
Want play inside water, when new and not heat can play, after long usage better don't. Sony use glue, glue won't last long forever, after sometimes or heat will change the stickiness .
Water and electrical still enemies.

yeah heat is greatest enemies...but i think they have perfected a bit. so long still haven't heard of the raised back glass problem that prevalent for Xperia Z and it is already half a year.
Ya, at least Z1 seems did much better than Z (Maybe) as Z1 processor S800 is much way cooler than Z processor S4 Pro.

Finally a thin bezel, and from video, it seems is using a great LCD panel which no longer surfer from Viewing Angle Issue. Tap to wake is the most welcome feature, also some cool feature like Answering Machine, 4K Video Recording, all cool camera features added. I just love Sirius, it look nice and interesting to me.
And ... I love it bring in some nice features (copying) from Samsung:
Good to know that is not hardware limitation. But if Sirius is Sony main line for the coming release, just wonder how big is the chance that all these features will migrate into Z1... I mean, if Z1 have save feature as Sirius, aren't these 2 phones will fight themselves?
They may possibly give you but not so soon. It only may give you after Sirius is out for certain period.
Z2 should be D66xx but anyway Sony learn its fault and changed!

The only issue on Sony is it LCD panel, If this still the cheap low quality TN or VA panel then can total forget it already. I will only interested if it is IPS or any LCD that have great viewing angle. Viewing angle is damn important to me. TN or VA panel is too low quality like use in low end cheap phone.

You won't spot any different between Z1 and Note 3, the only downside on Z1 is it's suck viewing angle
Others hardware is awesome. 20.7MP camera, unlimited burst shoot, waterproof and etc.
Sorry I spot the differences. Not only me, my friends go with me also notice it. For me, great LCD with great Viewing Angle is 1st point I want that phone or not. If the phone is poor viewing angle, how great that phone also I won't buy.

Haha! But you said no different so it seems confuse to me.
Here my way on choose a new phone:
1. The Look - Design.
2. Screen Panel Use - Must be great panel without suffer on viewing angle.
3. Specification.
4. Smoothness.
1st can seen from Internet, means 1st thing I check when see the phone at shop is the LCD panel use. If it suffer on Viewing Angle, I will put back and forget it.
